10 miles in but absolutely love these shoes. Minimal enough to feel the trail, enough cushion for comfort and the grip of the cleared sole works perfectly in slicker terrain. Love the overall looks and the yellow color definitely gets noticed. I sized up a 1/2 size as I always do in trail runners and have zero complaints about the fit. Looking forward to grabbing another pair to add to the rotation soon.

Really liking this version of the Terra Kiger. It ’s a simple shoe that just works and feels really nimble and fast. I actually really enjoy the feel of the midsole- although it ’s a fairly unexciting blend of EVA I think it has a nice ride and reliable feel. Been a go to in my rotation!

I used my new pair for a trip to Italy as I planned to do a lot of walking. They were amazing! I walked a ton in both cities and my feet never hurt once. I am sold 100% on this pair. Getting another color once I ’ m back home!

Fit is good and they are comfortable. They are definitely a warm weather shoe because they are highly ventilated.

When selecting a trail running shoe, consider features such as traction, cushioning, and support. Look for outsoles designed for grip on various terrains, as well as midsole cushioning that provides comfort during long runs. Additionally, a secure fit and protection against debris are important for a safe and enjoyable trail running experience.
Trail running shoes are specifically designed for off-road conditions, offering enhanced traction, stability, and protection compared to regular running shoes. They typically feature rugged outsoles for better grip on uneven surfaces and may include reinforced toe caps to shield against rocks and roots. The overall construction is also more durable to withstand the rigors of trail running.
Trail running shoes are designed to perform well on various terrains, including dirt paths, rocky trails, and muddy surfaces. However, the level of performance can vary based on the shoe's specific features, such as tread pattern and cushioning. It's important to choose a shoe that matches the type of terrain you plan to run on for optimal performance and comfort.
A proper fit in trail running shoes is crucial for comfort and performance. Shoes that are too tight can cause discomfort and blisters, while those that are too loose may lead to instability and a higher risk of injury. It's recommended to try on shoes with the socks you plan to wear and ensure there is enough room in the toe box for natural movement during runs.
Yes, many trail running shoes can be suitable for hiking due to their lightweight design and traction features. They provide good grip and comfort on various terrains, making them a versatile option for both running and hiking. However, if you plan to carry heavy loads or hike on extremely rugged terrain, dedicated hiking shoes may offer additional support and durability.
