He wants to wear these all the time over all his other cleats( f50, lower model of mercurials etc). He got the Kylian Mbappe color( yellow). Sizing is true to size, but be aware that this cleat model should be avoided on turf/artificial grass. There are different studs on each model cleat, so choose which one best suits you. Elliot is( 7) and wears a size 1Y( roughly). These Nike Jr Mercurial Vapor Cleats fit perfectly in 1Y. They ’ re definitely a little tight/narrow, but I feel they “ broke in ” quickly. You may struggle to get them on at first, but once you get them on they flex/maneuver well. [ I have been wanting to try the Phantoms and they are amazing. The feel of the upper material and the shape of the boot fits my foot perfectly. From the moment I put on the boot they felt broken in and ready to play. The upper material is the perfect amount of flexible to where I can lift my toes to feel the ball when controlling it. Overall I love the design of the shoes as I mentioned, the shape is great, I like the ribbed upper material and the sock/tongue lace cover. I would say the upper material is what I liked most about the boot. It is so comfortable and I feel like I have so much control and good touch with these. The upper feels really quality and can perform well too. I did add a picture of the the outside left of the boot, when I received it the sole was already separating from the upper so that ’s a worry because after many games on turf I could imagine the shoes would separate from the underfoot. If I could change one thing I would like the base( 1st lace loop) to be accessible. The part that covers the lace makes it hard to pull on those to loosen the boot. Overall I love these boots and would recommend to anyone.

I 'm most recently coming to the Nike zm vapor 16 elite fg from the Nike Tiempo- a different style boot known more for comfort and touch, but I am extremely pleased with both the comfort and touch of this latest Mercurial. The exterior of the boot has incredible material that is quite adhesive to the ball and creates good touch, and the fit of the boot is very good including in the back heel/ achilleas area. The all black colorway of these boots is also fantastic. It's a hard look to pull off- balancing classic and stylish, but the colorway fits this boot perfectly. Having actually owned the original Nike Mercurial back in 1998, it is absolutely incredible to see what this boot has become from both a tech/ innovation and design perspective.

[ I got these cleats for my son who plays competitive soccer. My son loved them as soon as he saw them in the box. He just used them in a tournament and said he had a good grip on the ball with these cleats on. He specifically loved the traction the cleats had and was able to glide with speed on the field and stop when he needed to with no problem or pain. The inside of the cleats were cushioned enough where he felt supported and not complain of uncomfortable pain and blisters he has experienced with other new cleats before. He did mention that he would have liked them even more if they weren ’ t so narrow and would need to size up if he got another pair but that does not stop the cleats from getting above 5 stars. The cleats run true to size but because they are narrow, he would recommend sizing up for extra room. The sleek design and the layout of the studs makes these cleats a must have. [ We go through a lot of cleats in this household, and these are our absolute new favorite for any artificial grass. My son has to play on. The first time he wore them he had no complaints and no blisters, which is a first for him. One thing we did is size up a half a size and that made all the difference. Even sizing up, he did not feel like there was any difference in his ball control. Another thing we really like about these cleats is that they both have the slip and aspect, and the laces, which gives sort of the best of both worlds of options and cleats these days. They also aren ’ t as narrow as a lot of Nike cleats. My son often struggles to find Nike cleats at work because of how stiff and narrow they can be, especially the mercurials, however, the lightness and flexibility and knit on the shoe allows, his foot to slip in and feel comfortable without any pressure on the sides. He doesn ’ t have a wide foot but his foot also isn ’ t super narrow so it ’s a great in between shoe. Last, he loves the looks, which is also very important for a soccer player nowadays:) he plays 5 to 6 days a week and these are a constant in his rotation, and we will continue to buy these for all of his artificial grass play.

[ It is hard for me to find a cleat that secures my feet but leaves room in the toe box. Fortunately, these cleats are roomy enough for my toes, without losing to much control of the ball. I like how the cleats are light but not too rigid, which allows me to flex and pivot my feet without getting too exhausted throughout a match. additionally, these cleats are good for your daily training on the pitch allowing you to still train and not completely destroy another pair of cleats for game day.

[ For being a “ pro ” tier option in the Phantom 6 lineup, this pair of cleats feels exceptionally premium. The Flyknit upper is super thin and flexible, making for a great feel on the ball. The shape of the cleats is nearly perfect for me, which allowed for an extremely comfortable and well fitting experience in combination with the previously mentioned upper material. Though I did not yet get to try these on their intended artificial grass surface, I can say that the soleplate feels delightful under foot in terms of being flexible in the appropriate areas and the traction still performed adequately well when being used on fairly dry natural grass. Design wise, I think the Phantom 6 line is pretty good looking in general, but this colorway does let it down just a little bit. The front area on this pair looks just fine in black and orange, but the lightish purple color in the rear is just strange. It clashes awkwardly with the rest of this pair ’s palette and being a rather light color on the Flyknit area, it stains easily when used on grass. Overall, I think these Phantom 6 Pros are a great value for their price and feel nearly on par quality- wise with their Elite counterpart. If I were going to get another pair of these, I would simply look to get a different colorway and I would also go for the “ High ” model for use on artificial grass, since the Flyknit ankle collar would prove very useful in keeping the turf pellets out of the shoes.

[ The Phantom 6 Low Pro cleats provide a different experience than Low Elite version. The lighter weight privileges speed over control, and the thinner surface in the shooting area of the foot allows for better feel of the ball. For myself as a midfielder, I prioritize control and accuracy. In those aspects, the Phantom 6 Low Elite cleats had a slight edge of the Phantom 6 Low Pro. I also want to praise the Low Pro flexibility and adaptability to my foot shape. The first time I wore it, it immediately felt like I had worn it many times before, which I appreciated. The cleats specifications may vary from player to player based on playing styles and priorities, but I still highly recommend the Phantom 6 Low Pro.

[ These are the best boots I have every used. I 'm most recently coming to the Nike zm vapor 16 elite fg from the Nike Tiempo- a different style boot known more for comfort and touch, but I am extremely pleased with both the comfort and touch of this latest Mercurial. The exterior of the boot has incredible material that is quite adhesive to the ball and creates good touch, and the fit of the boot is very good including in the back heel/ achilleas area. The all black colorway of these boots is also fantastic. It's a hard look to pull off- balancing classic and stylish, but the colorway fits this boot perfectly. Having actually owned the original Nike Mercurial back in 1998, it is absolutely incredible to see what this boot has become from both a tech/ innovation and design perspective.

[ I got these cleats for my son who plays competitive soccer. My son loved them as soon as he saw them in the box. He just used them in a tournament and said he had a good grip on the ball with these cleats on. He specifically loved the traction the cleats had and was able to glide with speed on the field and stop when he needed to with no problem or pain. The inside of the cleats were cushioned enough where he felt supported and not complain of uncomfortable pain and blisters he has experienced with other new cleats before. He did mention that he would have liked them even more if they weren ’ t so narrow and would need to size up if he got another pair but that does not stop the cleats from getting above 5 stars. The cleats run true to size but because they are narrow, he would recommend sizing up for extra room. The sleek design and the layout of the studs makes these cleats a must have. You will not be disappointed and will be the envy of other players on the field!

I used these cleats on a turf field and came away impressed overall. I have high arches and slightly wider feet, so most cleats require a break- in period before they feel comfortable. When I first received them, they were noticeably stiff. I 'd highly recommend wearing them around the house or for a few short sessions before taking them straight onto the field. Unfortunately, I did n't have enough time to break mine in properly, and I could definitely feel the stiffness during my first game. Once on the field, however, they performed very well. The traction on turf was excellent, providing solid grip for quick cuts and changes of direction. The textured `` Gripknit '' elements on the upper also seemed to add a bit of extra control and spin on the ball when striking or passing. My only real drawbacks are the initial stiffness and the high sock collar, which can make getting your foot into the boot a little awkward until you get used to it. I also wish the upper had a slightly softer feel right out of the box. Overall, I 'd rate the Nike Phantom 6 High Academy** 4 out of 5 stars**.
