I love SOG products and this knife does its job well! Love it! This is my 4th SOG blade.

5 WhydoINeedaNickname
This is a solid and well - crafted knife, comparable in quality to knives costing many times more. As a former Army medic I can appreciate the rescue features as well. The blade is razor sharp and I have n't yet had the need to sharpen. It took a little practice but I can now easily and smoothly open with one hand, left or right. I am so impressed with this knife I just ordered the 2. 0 version to keep in one of my cars. Only caveat, I 've seen some demos showing how the safety belt cutter is n't very effective. That may, in fact, be true, but the serrated edge of the razor - sharp blade is more than up to the task. This is only a good knife for crossing border into Canada which I do a lot of and where many knives are banned and where no knife can be carried for the primary intent of self - defense. The rescue and safety features of this knife help legitimize it.

5 Drew
Great tool! Solid design with several useful functions. The pocket carry clip position causes the knife to ride a little high( out of the pocket) so just something to be aware of.

5 Roy Wilt
Very good for emergencies. Keep one in your vehicle at all times

5 JJ4family
Great knife. I got it for my husband as a father day gift and he likes it so much. This was recommended to us by our handyman and we are glad we got it. Works great. Has the tools/parts my husband wants.

[ This model is a great balance of useful tools, relatively compact size, and low price. The pocket clip makes it easy to throw in your pocket every day

5 Mosby
[ Have n't used it in the field yet but I really like the spring loaded pliers. Much easier to use one handed. I sharpened the small blade a bit and stropped it and it is extremely sharp. Perfect size and function for my small game vest, in case I need to remove burrs or porcupine quills from my pointers.

5 Kate
[ This Leatherman is an amazing addition to my 4Runner. Its practicality is indisputable. I have used it numerous times already for little things that I would have had to wait until I got home. I would highly recommend one for anyone looking for an addition to their vehicle( or whatever else) because of the ease of use and sheer usefulness of the product.

5 MTB2097
[ Bought this for camping( saw, can opener, knife) and for use around the house( screwdrivers, pliers). So far have only used the pliers but the combination of tools are all the things which are most useful to me. Pleased with the tool, the size, the sheath, and carabiner.

This is a really nice knife. Well - crafted out of quality materials. Made in the USA with a sheath made in Mexico. Came super sharp.

5 Shuf
I bought this a month ago but also own others of same exact model. What a classic knife. Everyone should own one of these just because.

5 B Webb
I love these Buck 110 folding knives. I ’ m 68 years old and this is my third knife, I purchased my first knife when I was a teenager, these knives hold up, I lost the last one it didn ’ t break. The build quality and design is amazing. It ’s a very handsome and well designed knife as well as being very sharp from the factory. This knife is always sitting on my belt. If you want a nice looking knife that holds up well this is the knife for you. This knife is well worth the price.

5 JC_Fisher

5 BenLR
I bought this knife over five years ago and it always comes in handy. Only one time did I have it start getting jammed up and hard to open, but that was when I forgot i had it on me before going into a concert and had to get rid of it. In stead of taking a shuttle and then getting my car out of valet I chose to shove it deep into some dirt nearby so it would n't be found and stolen. When I got it out hours later the blade was n't easy to open. All I had to do was disassemble and clean out the dirt and then it worked like new. Awesome knife.

5 Tullos
I use it everday on rigs,,, easy opening and fiber hole allows for greater pressure when cutting

5 nikolas
I 've used this knife for throwing, splitting tinder, carving, EDC, and so much more! this is a great gift and makes a great gift!!!

5 Joshua84
I had this knife a few years ago and mis - placed it sadly, I have nothing bad to say about this knife, its very durable, and the that circle on the handle was a cool feature it helped with grip a lot, the blade was very sharp and strong, and the handle was almost a fiberglass looking metal handle( would be nice to of been that rubber matte finish) but.. anyways I 'm about to re - buy this, great buy!

5 Kade
well a little kid knocked my favorite knife off the pier today and i wish the warantee would cover that but it was a great knife, comes sharp, stays sharp and good blade thickness but lightweight and extremely durable cant believe the things it had been through( 70% of powdercoat was knocked off if that gives you any indication of how much abuse it survived, im ordering another as soon as im done with this here review, great product hope they continue to make great cheap knifes like these in the future.

Great value knife. Made in the USA with lifetime warranty. What's not to like. Thin, sturdy, well made folder at a good price for a knife made in the USA by Buck, a company who pioneered the knife industry. Hole in blade allows one handed opening with a good lock.

4 Rayak
Got one of these and I added it to my EDC list. Sharp, solid, no blade play, tough and durable locking mechanism. And made in the U. S. A.! My only nitpick is that I wish they would offer it with micarta or G10 scales, as opposed to aluminum. But it's still a fine knife.

5 STEVE T
I bought this knife 4 - 5 years ago. Always 1 of the best Gerber knives I have ever owned. Reason I am buying another one, after losing it.

5 Jay E
I love this knife! My favorite EDC. Super comfortable and an easy one handed operated folder. It's not fast to put away, but the draw is quick. Gerber just needs to make a version with better steel, like S30V would be fine. 8 years in the army and I went through 3 of these. I think the clip could be better too. But jimping is amazing and the lightweight frame is on point!

5 Skyler
I am an avid climber and one time, back when I had LONG hair, I got my hair stuck in my belay device. After making my partner, on lead, down climb the last move so I could free my hair, I decided that it was time to carry a knife for the impromptu haircut. I chose the Remix for the carabiner hole so I could attach it to my harness. Since then, I have used it for countless other tasks like cutting webbing or digging out thorns. After 10 years on my harness i can say that it will stay. It still keeps a great edge, I sharpen at the beginning of every season and it lasts the whole season with hard usage. I have trusted Gerber products for the past 20 years and can honestly say that the REMIX is worth it's weight.

5 Joe Friday
My wife gave me my first one a few years ago. May have lost it at work yesterday, but it might be found and returned. In the mean time, I 'm not taking any chances - just ordered a replacement - same model. Gerber 22 - 41968 I 've given it a heck of a workout in my new job since last July. Enough proof for me that I need it replaced ASAP. It's done exactly what I needed it to do on a daily basis, each and every time.

5
Hi. I am a major Gerber fan. Own many of their products and dozens of knives. This was my first. I bought at a climbing store and found that the finger hole was perfect for hooking on a carabiner. Knife is solidly built and perfect addition to a climbing rack in times of need. Recommended.

I decided to order this knife to use some of my rewards points and I was not disappointed. I own plenty of Benchmade, Protech, Microtech, Spyderco, and many other brands of knives and this ZT is up there with some of my favorites. Very light carbon fiber side panel, great detent that allows the flipper to positivly `` fire '', and the lockup is solid.

5 zbrewha863
[ I have another ZT( 0562) and this is just as smooth as you would expect from one of the top American knife makers. It is more of a “ gentleman ’s carry ” knife — it is on the medium to small side and looks very sheen with the CF handle.

5 Jynx2120
Smooth action, looks good, and it's a great little utility knife. Not much more to say. Get one if you have the chance.

5 Marx111
Very light weight, easy open and close, and blade come in nice and sharp! Good quality for the price!

5 Tw13
I have had this a few days and it's been great as expected.

5 Desert_Dweller
The thumb studs do allow you to open it one handedly. It does have to be closed using both hands but the studs and ridges throughout the design make it easy to hold. The blade lock is very sturdy so no need to worry about it closing on you while using it. The belt clip holds it in place very well it does n't slide around and stays in place. My only complaint is purely aesthetic. The pictures suggest a more reflective metallic finish while in person it is matte but this does not affect it's functionality.

had the cryo 1, and just found out about the cryo 2, so i had to have it! it's a really good knife for the money and bigger than I expected A( a good thing) very solid lockup and over lock protection, very sharp out of the box, and feel and act more expensive than it is, the blade steel is fine and easy to sharpen( 8cr13mov) and you cant go wrong with this purchase especially when you have a 10$ rewards coupon to use!

5 Nez4Prez
I was gifted this knife about 6 years ago, used it almost daily, and it had never disappointed me. Unfortunately, I lost it a little while ago, and I have n't been able to find another one to compare, so I 'm back to buy another one. It was n't bulky in any of my pocket's( including women's shallow jean pockets), and had a sturdy enough clip to stay in place without slipping out accidentally. It was stiff to open one- handed, but I personally enjoyed that so it did n't come open in my bag or pants, and the blade stayed sharp no matter what kind of work I was using it for. I whole - heartedly recommend this knife.

5 Duke

5 Moose_Knuckle
[ This is a heavy solid multitool. It feels like it will last forever. The replaceable wire cutter blades are a nice feature. Also the interchangeable saw and file are cool too.

5 onwardupward
[ I own smaller models in the Leatherman line( Crunch, Charge, Juice) as well as a Victorinox Classic. The Surge is by far the heaviest multitool, perhaps a bit too much to use as EDC unless you are using the larger pliers all the time. The scissors are the best in a multitool or knife: smooth spring action, long blades, not finicky or flimsy. Top recommendation if you need this size of multitool.

5 chilesmith
[ This leatherman is the best out there. It is larger than others I have owned and is strong. I have managed to break ones in the past and leatherman replaces it at no cost.

5 Izzy
[ I had a first generation WAVE multi - tool before. I loved it dearly. It had everything one could possibly ask for. I used it during my time in the military and well into my civilian life. Never once had a problem with it at all because Leatherman usually( and for good reason) means quality. I was heartbroken when it was stolen from me. Kind of felt like losing an old friend, really. Funny to have such feelings towards an inanimate object, but we had done a lot together. Breaking down weapons, fixing stuff around the house, pulling hooks out of the mouths of trout and salmon among other things. It feels good to have a Leatherman again.

5 Grizzwald22
[ Just got this as a gift, messed around with it today. Better than anticipated. Really excited to start putting it to use. Feels solid and sturdy.

5 Lee2000k
[ Been carrying this for almost a month and have found myself using it everyday. Having pliers available has been a game changer. And doing it in a lightweight package makes the Skeletool a huge win. I ’ ve carried a bunch of knives through my short lifetime, Spyderco, Benchmade, Kershaw, Microtech, etc. and they ’ ve all been great knives and I still own those knives. But the convenience of having a multi tool that weighs a little more or as much as a knife I already have, plus having a similar footprint as said knives, there ’s no reason I shouldn ’ t carry the skeletool everyday. Now is it perfect? No. If it had a pair of reliable scissors, like the ones from Swiss Army knives, then we would be inching towards perfect. But it definitely does a lot more than only having a knife, and it does it very well. I ’ ve come to find that the skeletool is also very customizable. There ’s a huge market that offers aftermarket modifications you can add to the tool. I ’ ve seen mods where you can add a hammer/pry tool to the end. And even seen guys add the aforementioned scissors. Possibilities seem endless. Should you carry it everyday in place of a knife? I don ’ t know, that ’s up to you. But should you give a try and see how you like it? I ’ d say absolutely and you ’ ll be pleasantly surprised.

5 electronicsdude
I bought this on the recommendation of a review website for including in a roadside emergency kit. So, while I like it a lot I guess in some way I hope that I actually never have a reason to use it. Though if I do I 'm pretty sure it will save the day as it's an incredibly functional multi - tool and lightweight.

5 I review stuff
[ I got this to replace my lost standard leatherman. Works great, sturdy, and the components are easily accessible. It does everything I need it to do.

5 Alpacaexpert
[ I purchased this for my 8 year old son. It ’s a really nice, high quality tool. It had just enough features but it ’s not overwhelming with things you would never use.

5 Spacely

I 'm male 70 years old. This sog been in my pocket for many years now, it very useful and functional with amazing longevity. Spending time in the wilderness it's used for many camp chores. Price is very reasonable, you ca n't go wrong buying sog. l highly recommend sog products to anyone needing top quality equipment.

5 Jojorudnick
This is my 3rd SOG knife and second trident. I also have the fasthawk axes. Basically they make amazing products and this knife is the best of all. Sturdy, sharp and a real tool.

5 Moose
Years ago when I was younger and less in the funds, carried a trident as my edc because it was well priced, comfortable, and durable. I recently came across this relatively new version and decided to give it a go for Nostalgia ’s sake. Man is this thing cool. It ’s super solid without feeling too heavy, it ’s comfortable in the hand, and really just an all - around fun fidget knife. The AT action is crisp and powerful. My only gripe that ’s not really a gripe is that the new closed locking mechanism will take some getting used to in its place on the top of the knife as opposed to in the handle. I ’ ve yet to put this one through the ringer, but it feels even more solid than the previous iterations, and I used to beat the hell out of those things.

4 jring87
This knife comes well sharpened, it has a good grip on it and handling it is straight forward. The product was a little pricey, but so far the knife seems like it will have good longevity. The blade is adequately sized and the handle will accommodate even large hands.

4 Junior
Its a nice sturdy knive. Very sharp the look and feel are great. I would have given it 5 stars it was easier to flip the blade with one hand. Even with the assist its still hard to flip the blade.

I purchased this over the Benchmade Bugout; I have no regrets. I love the Flash AT over the Bugout! Given I respect and love Benchmade, I just prefer the Flash AT! Can sharp out of the box; no flaws; heavy duty, this knife is heavier so if you want lightweight the Flash AT, doesn ’ t achieve that, but it sure does have heavy built; so if you ’ re like me that prefers a heavy duty combat knife that is a beast this knife sure achieves that.

4 BoingBoing
4 stars. Would be a 5 but the thumb assist is too close to the handle. The SOG Flare thumb assist is in a perfect location. Move this and it ’s a 5 Star knife! Love it anyway!

Very tough light! I really like that you can just pulse the button without having to fully turn it on. The clip is tight and does loosen up. I have actually replaced my previous Coast EDC light with the Flash AT Petrol. Excellent light, and would definitely get another one.

5 T W Thornton
Beautiful blade and handle, need to lose the back lock and install a back flipper knob, too many steps to deploy blade, and the blade is difficult to move with the thumb knob.

4 Eric B
Bought this for my wife and she loves it. We own several SOGs and have never been disappointed. Only ever had one issue when the SOG logo plate fell out of the handle of one of them. Their customer service was excellent and sent out a new plate that I glued in. The ONLY thing that keeps the Flash AT from getting a 5 star rating in my book is that the thumb post for opening it could be slightly bigger. It ’s a little tough to get a good purchase on with my bigger thumbs and the rather sharp point actually hurts a bit when you push on it. Otherwise great daily utility knife.

One of the best knives ive owned. Have put it to the test being a pool cleaner, it deals with chlorine, acid, chemicals, and its still as sharp as the day it arrived. Once its broke in its easy to open, the blade lock is great, and zero rust or divits to the blade from work. Never owned a Sog before but will definitely buy another one after this one wears out

I purchased the full size Evo serrated sometime ago in high school still had it in my 30s until I misplaced it. Used it daily as I carried it along everywhere. I prayed Gerber had yet made these. Now just purchased the Evo jr serrated. Super siked!! Hope Gerber continues to manufacture this particular knife. Cant ask for a better performing knife for the price really. Great Job Gerber!! 🠑

5
The screws do strip, but only after heavy modification. Mine are barely scratched, and i still use it.

this knife is great im the fourth gen. it came to me from my father it came from his and so on it been a great knife i think my grand father bought it new when it first came out ive used it for a lot of things from camping to hunting kepp up the great work

5
I got this knife as an every day carry back in highschool( mid 20's now) and its the most trusted knife Ive owned. I got a different knife by Smith and Wesson and it gave out so soon that Im back to this one. Its survived a motorcycle wreck without any damage other than a loss of the thumb stud so the blade is a little wiggly when opened... but just brace with a thumb or index finger and its still super awesome.

I was a bit disappointed by this. I was hoping it was smaller. It is a pretty large and heavy knife/tool to carry everyday. This would be fantastic for camping, hiking and/or hunting. The Arc is excellent. It feels very solid to hold. The knife is beautiful and sharp. The pliers are top notch as are all of the tools. Comes with bit set to exchange in large bit driver. Excellent multi - tool.

5 Dakota
[ I ’ ve owned several models of Leatherman and Gerber…Wave+, Charge Plus TTI, Charge Plus, Rebar, Super Tool 300, Skeletool CX, Surge, Gerber Truss and Centerdrive you name it. None of them were able to justify not carrying a pocket knife until the ARC. The magnacut blade is a game changer in the multitool space and has replaced my pocket knife with ease. The one handed opening pliers are awesome when you have your hands full as well as the ability to access the tools from the outside, again, with one hand. Different from the Free P4, Leatherman has listened and put a proper bit changer, quality scissors and a proper file into the tool. Build quality is typical top notch from Leatherman and this is a tool that will be handed down to my kids someday. I highly recommend if you ’ re on the fence!

Let's make some justice to SOG PowerAccess... It is a tool, not a gadget. It works like a tool, looks like a tool and smells like a tool. It have no frills or fancy features. But all that is offered works well. Pliers are outstanding, period. Blade is good sized to work as companion for a pliers oriented tool. It is not a pocket knife, good to remember. All other tools are correct and works as expected. The lock mechanism works well. It is enough to keep the tools in place and safe, no issues on that. But the genius design is on the 1/4 bit driver. It simply works flawlessly and is so well made that makes me use that more than any other function. I am a field technician and SOG is my multitool of choice.

5 Michael
Great EDC tool. This is a replacement to one I lost while upland hunting. Carry this always when bird hunting in case my dog pick up thorns and such. Precision pliers really help in removal of such stuff from my dog.

I use this knife for skinning and quartering axis deer, and of all the knives I have( even those made for skinning deer) this knife is my favorite. Just the right size, holds an edge well, sharpens quickly, and hasn ’ t broken a tip while separating hip sockets. Have been using for over two years now( I harvest about 12 - 15 deer per year in Hawaii where there is no deer season and way too many deer). I ’ m buying a backup today in case they stop making this knife…. like every other awesome product I find…here today, no longer made tomorrow.

I bought one Gerber Strong Arm( FDE) and liked how useful it was that I bought another in Black. As a former Marine who is used to carrying a KaBar, the Strong Arm is more useful to me. I like the shorter blade, the grip, and the pommel. I sometimes like to Scout Carry a fixed blade and the Gerber Strong Arm is a great knife for that type of carry.

[ This thing is a great little climbing knife, great in base camp and on the mountain! Get the neon green so you don ’ t lose it. It ’s a little stiff to open, but that ’s probably what you want. You don ’ t need to worry about it opening up in your pack or on your rack.

5 Steve
[ Great knife for pretty much all outdoor activities. The only feature I would request is a way to lock the knife closed as well as open. While it has never opened unintentionally, the ability to lock it closed would bring a little extra peace of mind.

5 brisamh
[ Needed a small, more importantly LIGHT knife to pack in my 10 essentials for mountaineering. This is exactly what it needs to be. I have a SOG for more heavy duty trips but when I want to be fast and light on an alpine ascent, this is what I carry.

5 Nate
[ This knife works great as a very lightweight option for backpacking. It stays clipped to my pack strap so it's always easy to grab when needed to fight off zombies, alien invaders, or whitewalkers.

5 Eric
[ The ring is great for a quick clip onto my harness. Easy open and close. It seems to hold its edge quite nicely. Strong blade, not afraid of it breaking. Handle is a bit flimsy, but if you hold it closer to the blade it's sturdy.

I received this knife as part of promotional bonus for signing up to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation about one year ago. I love this little knife. I own my own Machine Shop, where I specialize in restoring old cars and trucks, and I use this knife constantly for opening boxes of parts and cutting heavy duty rubber hoses for heaters. I have yet to change blades. I have read some of these other reviews where the owners are complaining that their knives broke while they were skinning an elk, or something like that, but chances are they were abusing the knife. Any tool will fail if its abused. Use this knife as it was intended and it will last a long time. Thank you.

5 nathanr14_910797
[ I got this as I was in need of a versatile folding knife and this is just it! From skinning to opening up way too many Amazon boxes, this thing cuts through anything with ease. I was worried about the durability of the blade considering it ’s super easy to change, but it ’s yet to break off or bend. The handle is super comfortable and as I mentioned earlier, the blade is super easy to change out and it actually does not require tools like says. If you ’ re needing a good folding knife with lots of versatility, look no further!

5 thaon90
[ The Gerber Vital Pocket Folder Knife is a practical choice for hunters or anyone who needs a sharp, precise cutting tool in the field. Its replaceable blade system, high visibility, and lightweight design make it a top pick for outdoor use, especially for hunting and processing game. However, it may not be the best choice for heavy - duty cutting or general camping tasks due to its thinner blade construction. This knife is best for users who value convenience and sharpness above all and don ’ t mind the ongoing blade replacement costs.

5 lanaenoti
[ I was excited to get the Gerber Vital Pocket Folder. I gave it to my husband for work, and he said it ’s very useful. The bright orange handle makes it easy to find in a mess on the table, and the grip feels secure. The blade is sharp and worked perfectly for opening delivered boxes. I appreciate that it comes with replacement blades, so there ’s no need to worry if one breaks or loses sharpness. It opens smoothly, and the lock feels sturdy, giving me confidence that it ’s safe. A very handy tool to have!

5 flavianaa

I bought this Swiss Army Knife as a gift for a friend and he has enjoyed it a lot! Well worth the money!

This model was my first Swiss Army knife. I carried it through 37 countries using it to create shelter, weapons, and tools. Now as my son comes of age, this knife is his to build his own tradition. This has been one of my favorite and most used knives over the years. Very versatile and durable.
