I have used them several times to walk in a hilly park near our house to keep up my love of walking in the snowy winter. I enjoy being out on them immensely. They are very easy to get on and off over my boots. Once the heel fitting is set it really is just a quick pull on the brackets over the toe and I 'm on my way. I also really like the pop- up heel frame that helps you walk up inclines much easier. Very nice feature! I find the poles to be helpful for balance and great to boost all over aerobic exercise too.
