[ We own two of the small Helinox chairs that we use for canoe camping so we have to carry them in a pack. However, we recently got a camper van and are getting a little older. The sunset chair is still pretty darn small so fits well in the camper. You sit a bit higher which is nice and the high back is also very nice. Putting a blow up pillow in the the holder makes it perfect for relaxing around the camp and can even nap in the chair. We have an Eno chair as well which was much more expensive, a bit heavier and not any more comfortable( but still a good chair). The Helinox Sunset is n't as sturdy as the fold out chairs but smaller and lighter and way better than those regular camp chairs that slip into a bag.

[ I didn ’ t even know a foldable loveseat existed! I ’ ve often used your run of the mill camping/folding chair when going to outdoor concerts, watching fireworks, or attending BBQs. It ’s so nice to now have an option for 2 adults to share this loveseat instead of hauling two separate chairs everywhere. This feels quite sturdy and could hold the weight of two adults with no issue( I believe it holds up to 500lbs). For extra security it also locks at the hinges. It is actually quite comfortable to sit in, and has a cup holder on each side. The cup holders actually have elastic bands in them to hold onto smaller drink containers, but can also support larger containers too. There are mesh storage pockets inside the arms and on the back of the chair as well for snacks and objects. It packs up nicely in its sleeve and is not too heavy for one person to carry. Overall really impressed with this and can ’ t wait to continue using it.

[ I bought this chair to have a collapsible chair that is at normal table height. This chair meets that and may actually be slightly too small for people with shorter legs. Despite the additional height it is quite stable, although as with all Helinox- type collapsible chairs you will need a base to support it on soft ground. The back of the the chair is not height enough to rest your head back but the back provides adequate support in an upright posture. It is fairly comfortable and the vented back panel should prevent overheating but the sides of the seat are a bit narrow so if you are on the wider/heavier side you may find that it cups tightly. It is somewhat heavier than the smaller chairs and too heavy for backpacking but I keep it in the truck and it is sufficiently compact compared to other options. Overall, it ’s the best and only choice for this style of chair at a full table height.

How hard should it be to find a comfortable outdoor chair that does n't cost a fortune. Well, it is hard and although these chairs are not aluminum, they fit the bill.
