[ I bought this hat because it was a different material than the normal Patagonia hats. It was more of a nylon lightweight material that was waterproof, had a sweatband, and look great. By far the best of the Patagonia hats out there.

This hat has a stellar design on the front of the cap. The fit is like that of a baseball hat and not as deep like a traditional trucker hat. The adjustable size strap on the back makes it one size fits all. The brim is sturdy. Ventilation in the back of the hat is very comfortable for hot days.

Hat fits great and I like that the bill is foldable Not sure why they have two buttons on each side and I wish they had more colors but I have no regrets buy it.

The folding brim allows you to wear it anywhere. If you want to take it off you just fold the brim and stuff the hat either into a pocket or down the sleeeve of your jacket. I really wish they would make a herringbone tweed one. I think it might look great. A subdued heringbone style would make it easier to wear in less rustic settings.
