I 'm a truck driver that pulls tankers and I have to unload the tanker myself so that means pulling hoses and standing outside with the truck trailer for 2 to 4 hours. So far the coldest it's been but I 've unloaded it's about 13 ° and they have done really well so far. The thumb and index finger probably get the warmest, but overall the whole hand is pretty warm. It's very important. I think to turn them on in the truck first and let him get warm then go outside with them and they maintain very well. These gloves are touchscreen, so I can use my phone without having to take them off, I do n't mess- up my mani when I workout anymore, clamping fingers between weights does n't hurt as much, no touching all the germy equipment, and they have a towel on the thumb to wipe off sweat:) win, win, win. I was a bit concerned about sizing. I measured at the high end for medium but decided not to go for a large because I 'd rather have them be a bit snug. I 'm glad I got the medium because the large would have been too large in the fingers. As for the wrist strap, I have pretty small wrists but there was no way I was getting these to close all the way, and partially closed the velcro rubbed against my skin. I just tucked the loose bit under and problem solved, no rubbing, and because it was snug to begin with it stayed in place. I definitely think these will keep my hands from getting torn up as I advance to heavier weights( which is why I got them to begin with). They washed well( in a mesh bag on delicate cycle) but I think I 'll turn them inside out next time because there were a lot of loose little black threads that came off on my hands after the first use( probably just cause they 're new). They seem like they 'll hold up one time but it's too soon to tell.

These gloves fit amazing and very comfortable. A lot of people are saying that they are ripping, that's because they use them for base running. Sliding while wearing gloves is going to rip no matter the brand. I 've worn then year round and they are still amazing and great. Do n't listen to the ripping reviews

Very pleased with these gloves!! I had read a review previously that he used them on fire assignments and was hooked, bought them a few weeks ago and took them out to OR on a fire and they did great! But BONUS I 've also put them to the test at tree climbing this week and they 've done really well! Only gripe is that they 've stretched a little bit, to where the extra space in the fingers gets stuck in carabiners from time to time. Easy to mitigate though, and the leather holds up super well to fire, ash, dirt, sap, ropes, and all:) plus do love that extra loop on the fingers to hang them in a way on my hip that keeps misc dirt from falling in.

These are my new favorite belay gloves! I take them up on the wall when I 'm doing multipitch climbs and also to the sport crag. They are versatile and generally awesome! I did get some holes in them after some usage, so be aware the durability is an issue, but I really have n't found a glove that's both dextrous and durable. Belay gloves put up with some serious abuse, so I 'm not really sure what's reasonable to expect.

I recently used these gloves on two different 11- 12 hour hikes in chilly conditions. Temps were minus 12 F with wind chill at minus 20 to minus 30 F. These kept my hands warm from start to finish. Even with a good amount of hand sweat they still performed well and the gloves didn ’ t feel damp on the inside. I highly recommend these gloves.

Haven ’ t had a chance to wear them on the mountain yet, but they are extremely thick which hopefully translates to warmth. My hands tend to be very cold, in fact my whole body probably runs colder than most, so I usually dress 10 degrees warmer than everyone else. Bought them for use with an ice axe. Dexterity was a decent for how thick the fingers are. Not planning on losing one of those! Very well made piece of clothing. Can ’ t wait to try them out.
