I 'm 72 yrs young and still have a lot of speed; driver ~90mph, carry 210. I traded in Apex 21 Black for these Ai Smoke with stock Project X Cypher 2 shafts. Those Proj X shafts were too stiff; I returned the set and reordered Ai Smoke with Mitsu Tensei Blue( R). Much better ball flight, medium high, very solid, not soft, feel. Standing over these I see a blade- like topline, and not much offset, but a generous- sized face. I know there's a ton of technology in the club, and a ton of distance. Confidence inspiring. They are half to a full club longer. On windy days, nice to know my irons are long. Callaway hit a home run with these. I bought the bag, too!

I went to get fitted at GG and the metrics pointed me to the Ping G430 Max. I bought it and played it for a while. But I could hit it consistently on the course. Took it back and traded it in under the 90 day play guarantee. After playing a round with this one, I am in love! Great distance, consistency, and forgiveness. An absolute fairway finder! I 've no idea what I 'm doing with the adjustments, but I feel way more confident when I swing this driver. I upgraded from a Callaway Edge which had 10. 5 degrees loft and regular flex shaft, to the Paradym Ai Smoke Max with 9 degrees loft and stiff flex. I 'm new to golf, started playing summer of 25. My decent hits are around 240 yards carry and I 'm slicing way less with a neutral setting.

WOW. I traded in my GBB driver for the AI Smoke Max D Fast Driver but I found it was just too light, and I just did n't hit it as solid as I had hoped. After speaking with the Callaway rep, I swapped it for the AI Smoke Max D Driver( not ultra light- more normal weight) and I LOVE it. I have hit the longest drives I 've ever had on my local golf course. I typically have a fade so thought maybe the 'D' would offset that and make my drives straighter. It is fabulous and you can adjust it as well. I did n't really think a driver would make that much of a difference but this one definitely does. Even if I do n't hit it perfectly, it is better than my really good drives with my GBB. Even my golfing friends have commented and asked me what I changed!

My first swing showed a carry of 170 yards on the trackman, the second swing showed 172 and the third 174, all I saw was the ball vanish into the night sky, so I 'm glad the trackman got the distance for me. I ca n't say if it helps off center hits because mine were pretty much dead center. I 'm now pushing 60 and had lost distance with my irons but this was more than I expected as far as distance gain goes. I 'm fortunate I guess in that Callaway hybrids just fit me well, but I have to say this club is awesome! Good job Callaway! This club lives up to the hype!

I have had this club for around 4 weeks and have shot about 3 rounds of gold. I had a Nike Vapor Hybrid 3 and changed it to this club. I was averaging on a par 5 second shot around 190- 210 yards with the Nike. I actually got a lot more distance with this club. I was able to hit the green on my second shot on a par 5 that have had previously never done. This driver does n't miss fairways unless you miss the ball! I 'm absolutely dumbfounded at just how good it looks sounds and performs. My new Paradym Ai smoke Max D was definitely an improvement from last year ‘s model. Being a senior newer golfer with some medical issues, I found that the Max D driver was more forgiving and much improved dispersion off the tee. I am a senior golfer and was previously gaming the Callaway Paradym X 12. 5 driver--- no complaints. However, I like to try new tech and being a loyal Callaway player I decided to try the newer Ai Smoke Fast 10. 5 driver with a lighter shaft- same flex as previous one. First drive off the tee was an absolute beauty. I 'm now almost always in the fairway as the forgiveness is quite remarkable. With a slightly higher ball flight profile I am getting great distance for my moderate swing speed-( 80- 90mph). I love this driver and shaft! Callaway hit a home run with this one.
