Bought this tent a long time ago, about fourteen years. Has held up great for that time. Ten min. set up time with two people. Hooked this tent to the back of my truck that has a cap. Worked great as a second room. I use the truck as a bedroom. Sleeve zips off for a third door option if using the tent alone. The only problem was when it rained one time and a pool formed between the cap and the tent on the sleeve. If it was on the right car maybe this would n't happen. The other thing that should be done to make set up easier is to mark the center of each tent pole. This is to mark the apex of the tent to tie the roof ties to. You will see what I mean when you set up. Would I buy this tent again? Yes. And I have never put any kind of waterproofer or seam sealer on and never had a leak.

I used the tent for the first time this past weekend and thought it was great!! My wife even enjoyed camping and I was n't sure that was possible. I heard from reviews that people said that it was hard to set up, but me and my friend set it up for the first time in the dark and only took us 10 minutes, very simple. They even have a video that shows you how to set it up, I would advise watching it first if you are unsure. Others said that it wouldnt fit back in the bag that it comes with, but again, I had no problem with it at all. The only cons were the tent pegs that came with it. They had no point at the end and bent everytime you hammered them in. I went to REI and bought some titanium tent pegs and problem was solved. The only other con was that when using the zippers, they sometimes catch the overflap fabric. Not sure how to fix it yet, but not a big concern. The tent is big and very roomy. I 'm 6' 5 '' and could walk around the tent with no problem. I have a 2004 Toyota 4Runner and the fit was perfect. Great tent, cant wait to use it again!

Love the idea of attaching this tent to my SUV. My wife and I have spent many a nights stacking stuff form the back into the front seats to make room for us in the back. This tent arrived and we headed out to go camping, first stop Holter Lake Montana, fee for camping sights vehicles on pavement tents on grass, you can imagine that we could not drive stakes into the ground when half would have to go through pavement. Headed out of Holter to camp at the Bridge where the access road to Holter meets up with the river at wolf creek canyon. Pitched the tent, pole, stakes everything and lit the barbeque and settle down for the night. Then the wind came and tent blew away. Lesson learned point the vehicle into the wind if known or possible( keep in mind, Eastern Montana is some of the windiest area in the United States. Packed up and headed home in the middle of the night. Two days later headed out to Yogo Creek Montana, found a remote site and set up camp, some wind but it was steady and we pointed vehicle into the wind. Everything else went off without a hitch, beautiful clear creek, camp fire and tent did fine in the 10 to 12 mph wind gust. One small problem, the straps that attach to the tent and come over the top of the vehicle and attach under the hood. When the wind blows is raddles those straps and makes a noise like a semi using air brakes. I will be going to the dollar store and buying some cheap pool noodles, slicing them half way and attaching them over those straps to stop this in the future. Over all glad I bought the tent, roomy and pretty easy to set up and break down.

I bought it I think three summers ago. I only camp 8- 10 nights a year, so it's held up great. It's hard to find a tent that's completely open on top, save for the mesh screen. It's lovely to leave it open and look at the sky or observe the leaves/bugs during the day and hugely helpful for ventilation. It has pretty excellent bug protection and the color is just so dang pretty. If this one falls apart, I hope I can get the exact same one!

It was great but I wish I 'd have known to tie my own extra knots at the end of the poles because one pulled through two of the poles. I think I can fix and maybe still use, as is. I admit I was nervous about hoisting it up after putting all the poles together myself, but it worked. I did n't use the rain cover.

[ I am so excited to use the Manta Pop Up beach tent for the rest of this year! It's incredibly lightweight and literally pops open as soon as you take the strap off of it. You 'll want to make sure you have stakes or something to weigh it down with once you are set up. There's a back window that can be opened for more ventilation throughout the tent. Sand easily falls right off of the slinky nylon- like material. There was a bit of a learning curve to get it closed, but once you watch their YouTube video it really helps you get it down. Comes with storage bag and takes up barely any space in your trunk. Myself, my husband and my two kids( 7, 10) were all able to comfortably fit inside the tent together.

Just push it together. and you can lay it flat and put it away. I love it, I have only used it one time so I am still learning how to set it up. With the tail gate down and window and gate open you have over 10 feet of leg room and can almost stand up in it. I wish I had bought this many years ago. Another owner of an Avalanche saw it this weekend and wanted to know where to get one. I would recommend setting up in your driveway with help the first time so you have an idea of where the straps go before just setting out on a trip. I glad I did. When I went camp I was by myself and was different when you have help. I enjoyed it.

I have been looking for a new camping tent forever. Being a bit of a penny pincher I had been burning through one cheap tent after another. I recently got the Limestone for an weekend camping trip and I love. It was rainy and windy all weekend but my tent stayed bone dry. More than that, I could actually stand in this tent and the walls being so vertical I could actually fit my wife and two kids in it without us rolling over each other all night. Even better its got these great pockets for stashing away your gear. You can tell they really thought out every aspect of this tent.

Large and spacious. Large doors in front and smaller one in back was very useful. Coming from a smaller `` 4 person tent ''( sierra South fork) this was more difficult to put up for one person. Mainly because the poles are threaded through the top. This Required the tent and poles to be lifted while simultaneously bending them into place eyelets in the corners. Clips to the top might be easier to build the tent. The rainfly has a droop over the main vestibule where rain collects. No leaks observed but it makes entering during rainfall risky. We camped during a bright moon. The kiwi color made the tent seem while on the inside. Drying out took somewhat long due to some of the double over layers( zipper covers, flaps etc) trapping water. Pack size and pole design makes it just too big to be a good packing tent. [ The Tungsten 3P tent held up in light rain and heavy wind on a backpacking trip along the west coast. Have n't tried it in heavy rain yet but so far, no condensation drips into the tent so that's a good sign. Also it packs down pretty light. Would recommend purchasing 4 additional stakes since this tent comes with 4 guy lines and no stakes for them.

My only complaint is it ’s just barely the width of the tent, if they could make the dimensions a little larger it would be nice. I found the sides of my tent to be a little wet. I 'm pretty much just a weekend warrior and go car camping. I used it when the weather dropped around 50°f and was pretty comfortable. The only issue I have is I wish it was an inch longer or I could stake out the back of the tent and pull it back some my. I 'm 6ft 1 and I have no extra room between my head and the tent.

Have a first light that is now about 10 years old. The poles have finally lost their elasticity but it ’s a decade old. Have used in temps down to 30. Never leaks. Does get a little condensation when 2 are using it. By myself it does better. It ’s a tight squeeze for 2 people but it keeps it light and simple. I can pitch this tent in about 5 mins and pack it away just as fast. You won ’ t regret spending the money on this one.

I see alot of bad reviews for this tent, but I 've honestly never had any problems with it. First issue I hear alot about is that it leaks. I 've never had any leaks with this tent. I remember I ended sleeping in probably an inch of water one night, and not a single drop made it into the tent! Another issue that I heard of was that the poles were attached together. I can see why someone would find it annoying l, but I like it like that. I like the way they 're attached because I find it easier to set it up by myself. Overall, a pretty solid Tent that I would recommend!

[ Bought for trips with two people and a dog. It was easy to set up and overall light weight. Only thing is the stakes are pretty heavy but easily swapped with lighter ones so no big deal! The mesh has such high visibility that my dog actually tried to jump through it. The tent didn ’ t budge and she sort of flopped backwards. No damage to the tent so it ’s durable too!

[ We bought this to go car camping with our three- year- old. I have some nitpicks( see below) but all in all I 'm quite happy with it. PROS:- Very easy to set up.- Main tent body is mostly mesh; nice for ventilation and stargazing. Rain fly provides full coverage, for a little more warmth and privacy.- Included footprint is a nice addition. CONS:- Quite heavy, but this is to be expected at the price.- The bag has no handle, and it can be a little tricky to get all the pieces stuffed back in.- The included stakes are a little flimsy. I 've already bent one of them, on our first trip out.- The stake- out loops on the rainfly do n't work very well( though I plan on tying them out with line next time, which should take care of it).
