I went in for a putting fitting today. In my mind I wanted a double wide blade, but I was forcing myself to be open minded. It took less than five minutes and Ken had me trying mallets style putters.( Not my favorite) in about 30 minutes I was convinced that a mallet was going to be the way to go. Tried multiple putters at the store and was about to leave then I saw the blue color. I immediately noticed the angles of the shaft and the face alignment is like no other, the design is exceptional and makes addressing the ball feel like no other putter I have tried. I jokingly told my buddy if I can sink these 6 balls I ’ ll buy it. I threw them out to random areas approximately 10- 12 ft out. I ’ ve only used a blade style putter but wanted to try a mallet style for more forgiveness and a different length. I needed an inexpensive mallet which this fit the bill. Only been able to try it on a putting mat, however, it feels great like it could be 2- 3x the price. Again hard to compare to my blade( Odyssey white hot og 1ws) but insert is great maybe a smidge firmer then the white hot insert if at all. Alignment feature is great. Only thing to knock is the head cover is very basic/cheap looking but does its job and is a good fit. Have a feeling this is kicking my much more expensive Odyssey out of the bag!

I was n't in the market, but when I saw the naked Answer in the shop( you never see these), I thought someone made a mistake. The shaping is perfection to me, and I do n't want any sight lines, dots, etc. I love the putter... do n't see my backups making a reappearance anytime soon. Good value. Solid, no gimmicks. Got the original PLD Anser 2 and played and loved it for a year or so... i never thought i 'd part with this putter. Just rolled the Anser D. The looks are stunning but I was blown away by the feel of this putter. It's amazing in every way. Graphite shaft is new to me but i am really liking it. I have always loved the shape of the Anser 2. Now I 've converted to the wide blade and I ca n't go back. Both excellent putters... for me the Anser D is superior in looks and especially feel. Happy hunting!

I was in a golf store to buy some shoe spikes and a couple grips. The last thing on my mind was leaving with a new high priced putter, but I stopped by the putting room to roll a few for fun. Grabbed the usual Scotty, rolled a few with a couple others and then grabbed a PLD Anser 2 that caught my eye. I fell in love and bought it. I own 17 putters and rotate through them, never making up my mind to stick with any one of them... until now. I 've played about eight rounds with it and hours on the practice green. I ca n't put it down. The feel is amazing. I have never felt another putter that has this feel. It's just quality and inspires confidence. It's soft, but not white insert no feel kind of soft. More like how a muscle back feels when you hit it pure, only easy to make great contact. I 'm thinking about listing a bunch of putters on ebay because I ca n't imagine ever putting with anything else. For the first time in 40 years of playing golf, the only thing I feel like blaming for a missed putt is a bad read. This putter is perfect.

Recently changed from a spider T7( which is more boxy with back wings like a Jetsons car, yet still very stable& nice) to spider V. The V just seems to inspire a bit more confidence for me and easy to line up and aim. Great roll off the face with both putters, amazing grip, easy to judge the speed, just slightly better accuracy with the V for my stroke. We all know that putting can shave a few strokes off one's score at the end of the day, and the more putts that find the bottom of cup vs grazing slightly by makes all the difference. V is the way to go for me.

Putters. Very difficult for me to find one that suits me. I 've been using a blade putter, a Taylormade 506 and it was around my first putter when I started playing. The grip is a thing leather wrap that should have been replace a long time ago but it has always felt right. The del monte l neck gave me that same feeling of confidence and more. Hard to explain so pick one up for a quick feel and I believe you 'll get it too

Perfect putt for me, my stroke has a slight arc so the 30* toe hang is ideal, because I can also hit shorter putts straight back and through. And the weight is ‘ just right, ’ light enough to swing smoothly but with enough weight for longer putts. Have had a Scotty Phantom X, a couple Odysseys, and even one of the early Spyders, and this is the best putter I ’ ve ever owned.

I have played many putters designed by Guerin Rife over the years. This is another excellent design of his. Aesthetics are clean, and the putter sets up very nicely. I am definitely making more putts, playing partners have confirmed. My only reason for the 4 stars is the feel is lacking. The insert does not have the same feel as the more traditional milled putters. If they can do that in future generations, it would be a 6/5 stars!

I really like the feel of this putter, it is very solid and makes it easier to control direction and distance. One thing I really like was having the ability to customize the club. I was using an Odyssey putter the past several years and I wanted to customize a new one but that was not available for a left hand golfer. I was impressed at the amount of things I was able to customize and the extra cost was reasonable.
