I got 4 or 5 seasons out of my previous Foot Joy shoe, the Helix D. N. A., so I was only buying Foot Joy this time. Seeing as I knew I wanted another pair, and that I wanted to replace them with a top of the line version, the FJ Pro/SLX Carbon's were my top choice. I have worn them about 4 times now, and feet feel fresh after each use, not tired. They come standard with Orthopedic insoles, so I have yet to buy a pair of Pine Valley Orthotics, like I had with my DNS's. For me, these are the perfect shoe. Great looks and great comfort. I have tried at least a half dozen different shoes designed for pickleball or tennis and these are my new# 1. They are not too heavy, yet the structure is really good. My feet are slightly wider than average and the Lotto provides plenty of room. Even after several hours on the court I ’ m not even thinking about my feet.

When they say FJ are top of the line golf shoes, they mean it. I typically have to size up two whole sizes when purchasing tennis shoes, however, the 7. 5( which is true to size for me) fit perfect on my narrow feet! [ I have every pair of Superstar golf shoes. The classic all blacks, the tan/brown, the green& yellow, and now these. Because they are spikeless, my feet don ’ t hurt after walking 18. I play early morning rounds and my feet never get wet. The flat souls actually give me stability, but are not heavy shoes like the other brands I do have that give more stability. Not to mention, you can ’ t not look fly when your golfing. At least look good if you can ’ t play good!
