This is my 3rd Bushnell range finder( I 've lost a V5 and V6 Shift) and it's basically all you need at a reasonable price. Bushnell Accuracy, Slope Function, and Waterproof. It's also really compact so I can stick it in my pocket and it does n't get in the way when I hit. I just need accurate yardages. I do n't need club selection help or front/back of green distances etc. you get with the more premium models. So if this sounds like you, then the A1 Mini is definitely for you. It's a Bushnell with what you need, and at a$ 300 price tag it wo n't sting too much when you inevitably lose it.

I bought a Garmin Z82 a couple of years ago and have really enjoyed the rangefinder. One troubling issue has been the inability of the rangefinder to link with Android phones for more than 15 minutes, rendering the advanced wind reporting functions useless. They recently came out with software upgrades that seem to fix the issue. Love the unit and all features now work. Would definitely recommend the rangefinder- great display and excellent features.
