[ My first outing with this chair was on a long walk on a beach at Bodega Bay in northern California. I am pushing 80 with arthritis in both knees. After 20 minutes I needed a rest. I sat while others continued. After sitting comfortably for over 30 minutes, I rejoined my group to head back. Very pleased with how well I felt. Love the portable weight and overall construction. An excellent design that I am glad to have purchased.

Light weight, easy to use. Way better than the ground. I like it comes in a bag to mount on the outside of my pack. Used it every break on my hike. Wish the feet were a little bigger. It sinks in loss sand.

VERY Close TIE to the famous competitor GCI Quik E- Seat! Theirs feels a hair more comfy with the slightly more cushioned back. But this DSG beats it hands down for carrying long distances( more comfy) and definitely easier to store( entire unit locks together with a built in strap that the other brand does n't even have).

I got this last year and I find it so useful. It ’s lightweight and easy to throw in the car if you might need it. It was a lifesaver when an outdoor concert we went to turned out to be much longer than anticipated. I will say that when I sit down, I let my weight onto it slowly to make sure it gets settled properly and doesn ’ t tip. I don ’ t know how else to describe it but sitting down slowly is the way to go. Really useful for my needs. If they had it in pink, I would get another one.

I 've been looking for a stool, chair or something that would pack small enough to fit in my pack but that I could also use to actually get work done while sitting. Most packable chairs are good for lounging but do n't let you plop down and work on something. it's pretty good. Seems to be made well. I 'll update my review in a few months.
