I purchased this bat recently due to all the media hype. I noticed that my regular bat had mostly ball scuffs closer to the trademark and not at the end of the bat. I figured the TPD1 would be the best choice since that model has the sweet spot closer to the trademark. For me, the bat is easier to swing, feeling more balanced and lighter due to the location of the sweet spot. I have had good success with limited at bats so far. I feel more confident at the plate knowing that I will have a better swing with a bat that does have good pop.

When I first got the bat I was comparing it to my old bat and both of the bats were 33 ''- 3 but the select pwr felt a little heavier. It is definitely a more end loaded bat and the sweet spot is amazing. But like most end loaded bats it is less forgiving on miss hits but if you barrel it with this bat id flys.

My son got the 2024- 10 USSSA The Goods( Travel) and the 2023- 10 USA The Goods( Rec) for xmas. The 2024 barrel is much longer and is larger than the 2023 model( 2 3/4 '' compared to 2 5/8 ''). The 2024 model is better balanced, has more pop, a larger sweet spot, and an excellent sound off the barrel. The 2023 is great for a USA certified bat, but does n't compare. Time will tell about durability. I 'd like to see a better grip on both. I also wish the USSSA model had the same finish as the BBCOR, the graphics took a step back this year.

Bought this bat for my 11yr old boy for an honor roll gift. He had it 3 weeks and hit a 70mph fastball at the batting cage and it cracked. Well balanced and great to hit with. I ended up buying this 30 ” drop 3 Atlas for my 12yr old son who was having trouble getting the 2025 Atlas 32 ” drop 3 through the zone fast enough.
