Just had my first round with these clubs coming from i210, i230, i525 and others. I had some doubts as to whether they are too difficult for me getting older and decreasing my swing speed. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Great ball flight, accurate and forgiving, I could n't be happier. And then they are really good looking.

I have tried them all and owned most of them( my hobby).... and I was ready to pull the trigger on the MP 243s. I had the opportunity to try the BPS in a head to head comparison( same shaft, etc.) and got exactly what you might expect with one exception. Briefly, slightly higher launch with the BPS, about 500 more revs in spin with the BPS, 1MPH higher ball speed with the BPS, and despite being 1 degree weaker( which explains all the metrics, except the slight ball speed advantage to Ping), almost exactly the same carry numbers with the 7 iron. Feel is subjective. The Pings and the Mizunos both feel great. Looks are also subjective. Got ta give it to Ping... my new irons. FWIW, I 'm a decent ball striker, but I 'm 66. I 'm not going to get any faster and I am not opposed to a little help. The BPS, T150, MP243 are all players cavities that promote such help. I figured the BPS would be a little less helpful than the others, given its head profile. Not true. At least as forgiving IMHO.

I bought these about a month ago and have played with them a number of times and very happy. The look is what I ’ ve been looking for, I hit these great and they are more forgiving then they look. I picked up distance they are very accurate. I ’ ve have always had forged blades when I saw these I had to get them. I ordered 3 to PW, with Dynamic Gold 105 shafts and I ’ m glad I did. These are so easy to hit I was pleasantly surprised with the forgiveness of them. I ’ ve had people at the club what are those clubs and when they do that said I didn ’ t know Ping made clubs like this. I ’ m so happy with the Blueprint irons and happy Ping put out a great product.

People told me not to play blades my whole life, was a baseball player growing up. Didn ’ t realize playing with my Dad ’s i3 ’s, they were blades. Needless to say, I bought these clubs second hand up in Prince George, BC at Aberdeen Glen GC( hidden gem). Best investment I ’ ve ever made, proud to rock the pings my whole life. Always been able to make a shot scrambling that people can ’ t believe. Don ’ t be afraid of these clubs, complete control of the ball. Owen

I can ’ t say enough good things about the blueprint T and S models. The T is has the perfect look I like in a blade, sharp sole, squared abrupt curves etc👏. I ’ m a +4 and needless to say very picky and can ’ t find flaws with these irons. My absolute only thing I ’ d change is I wish they didn ’ t have a visible screw/weight in the toe. Highly recommend these, great job Ping

I was always going to play these irons as I am coming from the original Blueprints. The trick for me, which required care and time in the fitting process, was to find the right grip, shaft and ball combination. And I found it in the TTDG 120 S300 Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 cord grip and the Bridgestone Tour B RXS ball. At 54 I am still playing off scratch but my swingspeed has reduced a tad. But all my fears of still trusting a traditional mb blade iron dissopated when I played this combination. Wow! Totally blown away hiw off the charts good the feel and performance of thus iron is. It will take getting used to the new aesthetics but as all Ping products…you come to really love and appreciate them for life.

Great feel similar to the Japanese forged irons. Traditional aesthetics with a wonderful profile at address( and in the bag). These irons have wonderful workability which is what I love about them. Honestly, as forgiving as any cavity back I 've had in the bag before these irons, which are my first set of blades. I 'm absolutely over the moon with my purchase and the value these irons add to my golf game and scores.

Very forgiving and strong distance club. The level of control is amazing and it's easy to access you do n't have to be a tour player to use these. They really are no more challenging than any players iron out there 770/Apex Pro/243 etc....... the power spec and X7 shaft flattened ball flight for me, they 're very sensitive to fitting and well worth it 👌

I 've got about 20 rounds with these irons. It took me 7 or 8 rounds to get use to them, but once I got adjusted, these irons are long, at least a club longer than the G30's I had before. It takes some time to get use to these irons as are lighter and require getting use to a different swing tempo. I have to convince myself to back down a club on approach shots of what I would normally use. I highly recommend these irons.

I had a set of i210 irons up until a year ago. It took some getting used to the i530 set, but it's such a big improvement. Sharp looking, crisp sounding, and ball flight is great. I only wish they 'd still make a 2 and 3 as I loathe hitting hybrids.

As a senior player I was looking for more distance. These absolutely delivered. I got the graphite shafts and they ’ re so light they required some getting used to. I ’ m in Montana so our winter golf is simulator golf. I have to club down one club from my norm. My 7 iron was good for 160, now it ’s 175 on a flush hit. I ’ m playing outside on in a few days and I ’ m excited about golf again

I 'm a 7 handicap and recently got fitted for new clubs. I was fitted into i530's in Dynamic Gold Mid 115 stiff. I 've been playing the i25's for a while now and wanted to see what this new technology was about. I tried an assortment of makes and models. Callaway Apex, TaylorMade's, and Pings. I 've always been a Ping guy. Loved the feel and they just work for me. It was narrowed down to the i230's and i530's. While the i230's felt great. The dispersion and forgiveness of the i530's were unreal. These are a club longer than my i25's. While my miss is off the toe, the make up of these irons keep the ball on line and distance loss was minimal on off center shots. These are long and forgiving. The feel on center strikes are very good while off center shots do n't feel horrible. Even my toe strikes feel good. Unless you completely miss the face, striking the ball feels really good. Yes, spin rate is a little lower than usual. The launch angle and apex are high, this makes holding greens a nonissue. I also got fitted to add 1 degree of loft to help with this. Needless to say, the i530's will be staying in the bag for a very long time.

The Great White Hope
I have played with a lot of set of irons and without a doubt the ping i230 are the most precise clubs I have ever gamed. They offer solid forgiveness and the distances are off the chart. The i200 ’s were good, these are excellent. Best irons for low handicap players IMO. Scratch golfers may prefer something a little more blade like and workable, but these irons are extraordinary.
5
I just was fitted and the i230 with the Ping Alta CB AWT S shaft was the winner. I have never played graphite shafts on irons, but the Alta CB won me over; it's a joy to hit them. There is enough weight where I can feel the club, and the impact is butter smooth. I feel likes it is less work to get straight distance. The ball does not veer offline much, even with a poor swing. I tested other graphite shafts, and steelfiber, but the Alta CB kept feeling the best and hitting my launch and spin numbers. I 'm looking forward to gaming these this year.

I 've been using these irons for two full seasons since they came out in late 2022. Back then I was fit for a new driver and just wanted to also hit some irons as my previous set was almost a decade old. Hit irons from many different brands, but no model could compete with i230. These irons really hit a sweetspot of looking great, but not intimidating to an `` average '' golfer. And while this is also true for some competitors irons, none of those achieve what the i230 does: it's very forgiving for its size and consistent because it was not designed to just hit low- spin missiles. Irons with similar forgiveness are always built with distance in mind while i230 is all about scoring and creating playable shots with enough spin and height. Even the consistency out of the rough and in the wet is outstanding. Plus, the yardage gaps are perfect through the set while other sets get bunched at the top end and/or have huge gaps in the short irons and wedges. Plus, they also feel REALLY solid. Not as soft as a one- piece forging but very satistfying. Best comparison is hitting a nail with a hammer. Not soft, but solid and powerful.

I have been swinging these irons for about a month. 2 to 3 days a week on a simulator and two rounds of golf thus far. These irons give me consistency, I feel like the distance is predictable from club to club. They have a stylish non- clunky appearance, but are also forgiving. I ’ m very happy with the feel and overall performance. I am a consistent 82 to 85 player, +10 handicap, and I would recommend these to any player at any level. Great for entry level players as well as an enthusiast like myself.

I can ’ t speak to longevity because I ’ ve only had them for a couple weeks but they are extremely playable, somewhat forgiving, and LONG! I hit my 7 iron 175 yards where my previous apex 21 was around 160 for the same club. They are accurate, look awesome behind the ball, the sound on a nice hit is fantastic….. I have zero complaints but I did see a couple reviewers complain about rust so I am a little worried about that. Otherwise, fantastic set of irons!

Coppertop1880
I 've been playing for the past few years with older Ping ISI Beryllium Copper irons and wanted a more modern set to lug around the golf course. Tried out both the i530 and g730 irons. The g730 felt good but the i530 felt much better. Having said that, I do think the g730 irons are more forgiving and probably better suited towards the beginner or high handicap golfer. The irons have a classic blade look but has the benefit of a hollow body. They feel great, offer forgiveness and due to the stronger lofts, I 'm getting about 25- 30 yards more distance out of them. The local Golf Galaxy was fantastic about letting me try everything out and helped me with the custom order( only needed 7- PW). Free tip- go through the fitting process so you can get a set of irons best suited for your height and reach. That way you wo n't have to ask, `` Is it the irons or me? '' so much. Overall very pleased with this purchase and would n't hesitate recommending the i530 irons to others.

I just did a fitting today and the G730 was the winner( and the only club close to it was the G440). We tried the Alta Quick 45 shaft, which worked great( in my 60's and my top swing speed is around 75mph but often 70mph). But then we dropped to the Quick 35 and it was even better. I went from hitting my existing irons( QI but customized to 2 up and 2 strong) 120- 130 carry with a strong push to the right to hitting these 155 and straight/draw. My total distance was in the 170's, which I did n't think I 'd ever see again. They just seem to whip through the shot and the sound is perfect and I was hitting baby draws instead of way right. Honestly these were n't on my radar when I walked in for the fitting. I 'm glad the fitter brought this out to try. Only negative is they may not be the best looking irons but I could n't care less.- they are amazing and fit me perfectly.

Just an ole striker
A beautiful club!! And feels just as good! I am a 10 handicap player and the feel of the irons on a strike is like butter. No noticeable yardage change. 7 iron for me is 165 yards. Ball flight is high and lands with mid spin.

Hopped in the bay and hit the ZX5 MK2, ZX7 MK2, 243 Pro, 245 Pro, Cobra King Tour. The ZX5 was all around by far the most consistent. They all had nice feel but the Mizunos were just a little too hot for my taste( especially the 245; it's def for distance) and did n't spin as much. The ZX5 spun most, had the steepest landing angle, and best distance dispersion. I 'm coming off a players iron from several years ago, which I hit pretty well, but the forgiveness and consistency of these is very apparent.

I ’ ve played a lot of golf and eventually got burned out quit for a long time I had all the best clubs years later our small town built the best rated golf course in New Mexico ROCKWIND designed by Couples and Trevino so I started playing again with a swing I ’ m not familiar with no distance whatsoever my game was bad but I kept playing my son works for Dicks sporting in golf department and was talking highly of sirxon clubs I knew they made a descent ball but thats all well my two sons and daughter surprise me with a set with senior shafts first day I played a better game and just love these clubs I just turned 70 so the most important thing to me is distance and these clubs give me more

I 've been gaming this 2 iron for the past month or so. Helps when I 'm on a tee box with a narrow fairway and my driver is too risky. Have n't had a complaint yet other than it does launch a little higher than I expected it too. May be a problem on windy days but I have n't had many windy days to test it out. Feels great and the bigger face gives me a little more confidence when standing over it.

For those of you that ca n't hit hybrids or miss the ball curving left due to the design of hybrids due to their upright lie angles, these driving irons are for you. The clubs are great and feel great but was very saddened to have them arrive with no wrapping or anything. The metal clubs dinged each other during the whole 3 day shipping by fed ex. Golf galaxy also refused to exchange the iron set for a new one even though it was their mistake not wrapping the clubs. Pretty frustrating they do not have an exchange policy for mistakes as silly as not wrapping a brand new set of$ 1000 irons.

I am a 7. 2 handicap. Hit these clubs and fell in love with them. They look fantastic and have a nice feel without the harsh sound that some hollow body clubs produce. They are strong lofted so they are about 7- 8 yards longer than my previous set but still have enough spin and height to stop on the greens. I was torn between this club and the T200 and considered go with a mixed bag but in the end decided to go with the full set of T350's. My dispersion and distance control have met all my expectations. One thing to keep in mind is if you like to work the ball in either direction this may not be the right club for you and I would look at the T150's. Spin numbers and descent angle are good but not in player club territory IMO.
5
Blue4113
I was thinking about getting the older T300 irons, but decided to do a fitting. At the fitting I was able to swing them as well as these, and I 'm glad I did. Ended up deciding on these, have played 3 rounds with them, and have already seen a big improvement in my iron play. I am still a higher handicap player, but these are the most forgiving irons I have hit, and it shows on the course. Would recommend to any other higher handicap player.

I traded in a set of Callaway Smoke irons for these after doing quite a bit of research. The Callaways were fine but not as `` forgiving '' as I was expecting, so I looked into the Titleist irons.
