We were given one of these bats to demo from a Rawlings representative through our travel baseball organization and I can say hands down it is the best bat I have ever swung. The bat was an inch longer than I usually swing and I was still able to swing it stronger faster and with more control than with any of the other bats I ’ ve owned. My bat of choice before the icon was a Cat 9 composite. The icon is a more balanced bat with far superior “ pop ”. The ball flies off the bat.

One of the first things I noticed was how it looks amazing. I love the matte gray with the blue and purple accents. Secondly, it feels lighter compared to the other brand that I typically swing. I felt like I could get the bat through the zone faster, and thirdly, the ball flys off the bat. The pop was amazing sending the ball flying whether it hits the sweet spot or not.

I got to demo the Reverse last week and wanted to share my thoughts and feedback and how I compare it to the Easton Ghost Double Barrel. I have been using my Ghost for around four years and I really enjoy batting with it. I 'm a big fan of the Ghost because of the large sweet spot and the instant feedback when you get a really good hit. I also enjoy how comfortable it feels when I swing it. I was truly impressed by the Reverse's balanced weight, it was n't `` too '' light and it did n't feel end loaded. I felt the bat provided exceptional power when driving balls and I ca n't say enough about the comfortable grip and I really enjoyed how it felt when swinging it. I liked how familiar it felt, meaning it was easy to get used to and felt like I had swung it before. If I were to compare it to my Ghost and the Mantra 3. 0 I would honestly say it was like a mixture of both! When hitting with the Ghost, I feel there is more `` pop '' or lift on good contact whereas when hitting with the Reverse, the balls are `` driven '' hard and deep. I can see the potential for more line drives and deeper hits with the Reverse where my Ghost would lead to more popups. Overall, I truly believe this bat has great potential and is a solid choice for players who are used to the ghost but are wanting a change. It's clear a lot of thought and craftsmanship went into the design!
