I was looking for a new net and since I mostly fish from a canoe was looking for a short handle net. This net exceeded my expectations. The extending handle is a great feature and I really like the mesh. I would not call the mesh tangle proof but definitely a very big improvement over the typical nylon mesh. And it floats!

Rubber netting doesn ’ t allow hooks to get buried in it like nylon. It extends to get those fish all the way at the back of the boat. It floats, so even if it falls in the water, you can get it back. I would not try that with a fish in the net though. My only complaint was shipping... way too long with UPS ground. USPS priority would have likely been the same price and arrived 3- 4 days sooner.

This net exceeded my expectations. My lures never got caught in the net, fish were easily released without suffering any harm, and the net was big enough to allow me to `` swoop '' in and land my fish before it ever had a chance to get away. Overall, great product that I highly recommend.

Came looking for a wooden net with a clear rubber mesh, and not even a thought about something else. However when I found this, is had a rubber mesh and the durability of plastic and metal as opposed to wood. The ability to eyeball an accurate measurement and the retractable ela stick cord in the handle really sold me. Works wonderfully.
