For starters I ’ m bald and shave my head often. So I feel like I ’ m constantly looking for the right hats. I ’ ve had this for 24 hours and truly find it to be thee most comfortable hat I ’ ve tried and checks so many boxes. It seems fairly breathable but haven ’ t gotten to use it actively yet. It has such a comfortable band. Again, for a bald guy it ’s so ideal. It ’s super soft. I ’ m sure it packs well. I ’ m 6 feet tall with a fairly normal to slightly large head and small/medium is perfect whereas for tried the gamma in s/m and it was laughably small. I hope they use these materials more in other hats because it ’s just that comfortable.

great fit, shape and feel excellent length of the beak, adjustment tab in the back is made of softish rubber that does n't cut into back of your head

Don ’ t revise this product it is literally perfect and I need like 2 more hats in green and purple so please do not “ revise ” them and mess up this design it it literally perfect. The hat is so light too I forget I have it on at times.

I think this is the perfect hat. It's super packable and on my trip to Africa I put it in my backpack and it came out of the backpack looking perfect- was n't damaged at all from being packed away. It has a really nice deep fit which I really appreciate because I have a larger head and it does n't feel like it's on top of my head it feels like my head is inside of the hat. I hope you will make more colors in this hat. It's perfect

[ I love the design of this rain/hiking hat. It has a nice felt lining and is wind resistant. Although this hat protects from the sun's harmful RAY 'S, it is not meant for really hot weather due to the felt lining( meant to keep your head warm). Outdoor Research makes sun hats that are more suited to the desert or really hot climates.

[ I go to the YMCA pool and met a nice couple that each had OR hats. I inquired about their hats. I liked what I heard so I purchased one for me and my husband. I love this hat I because it fits well, protects me from the sun and it is waterproof. I wear it when doing water exercise and when riding bike. I also purchased the Sombriolet sun hat which has a wider brim, vents and a chord to tighten to my head. I use both and I am very pleased because of the functionality and quality. PS I still use my baseball cap and visors.
