I 'm just going to come out and say it- the roll top is sexy. It has its naysayers, but not only does it look extremely aesthetic, this thing will convert from a lightweight school bag to an all- day- expedition workhouse by simply rolling more or less. As usual, Osprey has hit it out of the ballpark on function- the strap hook is very easy to do and undo and, far from most roll top haters perception, takes less time than most zippers do. It should be noted that there's little organization. It is, like one redditor describes roll tops, `` '' a cavernous hole to put your stuff in '' ''. This suits my packing style perfectly however, as I never know what to do with too many pockets. As for definite cons... The water bottle mesh pocket is n't nearly big enough for most water bottles. Unfortunate. But it makes an excellent extra stuff pocket for a handkerchief, cards, etc! I also personally wish the stuff pocket on the front expanded just a little more, and that something was added to the other outside side panel, opposite the water bottle pocket. A second mesh pocket, perhaps? Or a couple small pockets for odds and ends that you do n't want in the cavernous hole? It just seems like wasted potential. All in all, only one true con and a lot of pros. Osprey once again nails it.

Great bag. Great size. I bought this bag to replace another 40L bag I had for work and daily use. I was looking for a bag that had plenty of room in a main compartment, while also being able to hold a laptop and smaller items( pens, small tools, notepad). This bag fit the need great. I recently traveled across the country with it and it held up great. The straps and back panel make it comfortable to wear, the roll top makes throwing and grab large items easy, and it did well holding up to a light snow flurry while I was out( though I feel the material would struggle with a heavy soak). I bike commute and found this bag to be useful even to throw a few groceries in on the way home. Overall if you 're looking for a good size do anything bag this is a good fit.

It also holds a lot more than my previous cooler and is much easier to carry around. I 've also taken it with me golfing several times at courses that do not allow coolers and nobody bats an eye. The description does n't do this bag justice. The roll closer is easy and looks clean and nice. The zipper that allows access to the main area is great; it will enable so much space for packing what you need into the bag. The laptop sleeve is really deep, so it holds the laptop stable. The ability to use the compression straps is awesome and allows the pack shape to look so much cleaner when packed with daily needs, it also keeps you feeling like your stuff is n't being moved around when you 're on the go. The harness and Hipbelt are comfortable and easy to adjust. 10/10 for this bag!

A perfect complement to my Burley Coho XC trailer. It ’s a nice fit into the trailer with a little bit of room on the edges. If you want to talk, some other goodies in the rolltop works well, but the clips on the side may not be in the best position. Otherwise, a great light weight bag to keep my gear dry on weekend trips to the Cape and Islands in northern Vermont. Nice being able to get on a ferry with a trailer and not need a car reservation and be able to carry everything you need rain or shine.

The single wheel trailer is really well designed. I love how you can disassemble it and fit it in a compact car to transport to your next adventure. Assembly was pretty quick and easy. Customer support for a defect was great. Once you get moving you don ’ t even recognize it ’s behind you, until you get to a hill, but that ’s part of biking. It would be great if the cargo area was about 6 inches longer for the things that I do.

[ This is better and more creative than the online description. It has a semi- rigid insert to hold shape, the interior dry bag is attached with loop-&- hook( Velcro), and there are a couple of ways to secure it on the deck of your kayak. Because some powerboat drivers have not paid close attention, I do prefer bright colors when crossing a lakes. And, of course, bright colors are easier for bush pilots to spot. I do wish it came in a bright color similar to a safety vest.

Used on a self support kayak trip on the middle fork of salmon in Idaho. Ran it on the front deck but mounted so the access end was toward the bow. In reverse the angle makes it easy to read a waterproof map in the bungees and did not interfere with strokes. Great for extra jacket, lunch, and small dry box. [ These bags are great! They are so lightweight, and the material is waterproof and sturdy to handle your outdoor adventures. It's great for protecting things you want to keep dry, while not adding a bunch of bulk and heft to your load. I love that there are 3 sizes in this set to choose from, and the colors are fun as well. The roll- top closure and buckle makes me confident my items are secure and I wo n't have to worry about them and I can just enjoy my adventure.

Instead of organizing into Ziploc or other bags and having to carry a pack cover in case of rain these beauties pull double duty and do both.
