[ Bought for a BWCA trip this July and was very pleased with the comfort and grip in water during portages and general use. Only issue I had which was before even leaving for the trip- was the loop on the back of one of the shoes ripped off the first time I put it on. Did n't leave me with a great first impression and curious to see how they will hold up after another few trips but I 've had positive experiences with Kamik so far so I 'm not that worried about the rest of the seams falling apart, I think the back loops were just not reinforced much.

I need arch support to NOT have foot pain. These are great. One issue I had was that the adjustable strap was too long, as my foot is not `` very tall. '' When I tightened the adjustable strap, the strap hit the floor/ground. So, I took them to a shoe repair shop and had the straps shortened by 1 inch. Now, they are perfect for my feet.

I have been familiar with Chacos for awhile and how they are very popular due to their quality and functionality. The problem was that all of the models I saw were way to chunky and heavy and with me being a minimalist footwear fan I just couldn ’ t get with them. However, when I saw these and read some of the reviews and saw that they were less beefy and light my reason for not getting a pair of chacos was gone. I love this sandal, it ’s stylish and practical and pretty light to boot. If there was any critique I would give it would actually be for Chaco to add a huarache type sandal to the line up. You ’ ve gained a new fan in me!

Bought the sandals about a month ago. I love the overall style. I love the color scheme and I love the comfort, I am primarily a minimalist shoe/sandal person, but I needed something with just a little more protection for hiking in areas that are a little rocky and sharper. I Was hesitant to try Chaco ’s because all of the styles that I saw were super thick and very heavy. This new style so far is light, allows my toes displayed comfortably, and feels very natural on my feet. If I Could make one slight change, it would most likely be to get rid of the toll loop and make this more of a huarache style. Other than that, I am a fan.

Bought these for Hawaii. Wore them through salt water, fresh water, over pumic and concrete streets/sidewalks- never missed a beat!! I had to rinse- n- wear and sometimes just kept going as is( depending on our activity for the day); they never failed me once. Through relatively short hikes, long walks, swimming…this shoe never caused hot- spots or blisters. Sizing: I normally wear an 11. 5- 12 so I chose an 11. 5 in this shoe. Perfect! Keep in mind, I ’ m an easy fit for shoes since I have a pretty generic foot size and shape. Extra tip, I normally spray my feet with antiperspirant but these shoes stayed wet for nearly two weeks so odor was never as issue. I ’ d buy again and definitely recommend. Last note, there was an issue with delivery due to UPS, not Keen. However, when I emailed Keen, they responded within minutes. The issue resolved itself. I was just glad to see Keen so “ Keen ” to respond quickly.

Dear KEEN, You 've done it again! At first during the unboxing I was n't that excited when I saw the mid sole( I just spent the last 4+ years in the KEEN SOLR/green with full gum sole/much wider toe box/amazing shoe) wrap up on the toe box. Looks amazing! Performance blows looks out of the water! I had these on from Upstate South Carolina all the way to Saco Montana via RV this year. I got to test these out in all situations and they are great for whatever task is at hand. The foam mid sole and gum sole work as a team keeping your foot planted. On and off is simple. I even slide these on like a crush down heel. No matter the terrain this is a solid platform for your feet, extremely comfortable and they look pretty sweet.
