One trip was not as good because it was really rough and the chum jerking up and down did not last long. I like Gulp because they are always in my box and I do n't waste an hour getting live bait. When fish are biting they are actually better than live shrimp because they stay on the hook longer and are not bitten off. You can also cast them further without them flying off like live shrimp often do. But honistly they are not quite as good as live shrimp when the bite is off, when the fishing is slow. But all in all I love these things and use them more often than live shrimp because they work most of the time and sometimes even better than live bait.
