I bought this bait at my local dicks sporting goods store last week. I fish on Cayuga lake which is located in the finger lakes in Upstate New York. I purchased some Berkley grub minnows for fishing off of a dock near a marina and off of the shore near a small bank. I had lots of success in landing some fish including some blue gill, pumpkin seed, rock bass, and large mouth bass. Do n't let me forget to mention that I caught A LOT of gobies. These things have huge mouths and love the scented bait. You can definitely catch some 2 or 3 lb largemouth on these bait if you are fishing in the right area. I found that using a size 4 jawbone hook worked well with a Carolina rig for the fish I was after. I added a 1/8 oz weight about 5 inches from the hook. I received most bites and catches on sunny days with calm water in about 20- 40 feet of water. To retrieve the bait cast it out very far, then let it sink to the bottom. Then just slowly reel on the line every 5 seconds then let it sink then repeat. These baits tear away after you snag them or hook them multiple times. They also lose scent after a while so sometimes if it is reusable I wash it off then throw it back in the bag to soak in the juice.

I recently used these in the tampa bay. The results were very good when nothing else was working, including live. They advertised as durable and that part is simply not true. These baits are very tender and do not last for more than a strike or two. Ill buy them again but rather expensive for being no tougher than they are.

Eggs tend to be a great choice in WV. Trout are feeding on eggs that are orange or green this spring. I am catching trout in creeks and lakes on the power egg.

Which ever way you rig it for steelhead it 'll produce fish. Berkley dose n't have a have wide color range for this product so a small tip. Bring some dye pens and dye them after you rig it so it does n't bleed into your other worms in the pack.
