Has good breaks and the handles are rubber with ridges for a better grip to hold on. It's really easy to charge and it does come with it's battery and charging cable. My 13- year- old daughter had a blast on the scooter and so did my 14- year- old son. The scooter frame is all steel and the deck has grip tape so you can have a better grip on your feet and you wo n't slip and fall. My son finds the Luna scooter very easy to turn around sharp corners were with other brands he found it difficult. The storage part is HUGE!!! Great for transporting small toys to other locations and what's amazing for parents is that it folds.... bye bye to taking up so much space in the boot and garage.
