I bought these for shin guards for softball( pitcher), after getting drilled in the thigh last season, I know it's matter of time before I take one in the shins. I 'm 5' 10 '' and went the 15 '' guards and they fit quit well. They cover a few inches above the knee and right above the top of my cleats. Very light weight so they do n't slow you do n't while running. Highly recommend for shin protection, hockey or softball.

When selecting senior shin guards, consider features such as the level of protection, fit, and mobility. Look for guards with high-density foam or plastic shells that provide adequate coverage while allowing for flexibility during movement. Additionally, adjustable straps and a comfortable liner can enhance the overall fit and comfort during play.
Senior shin guards are typically made from a combination of lightweight plastics, foams, and breathable fabrics. The outer shell is often constructed from durable plastic to withstand impacts, while the inner padding is designed for comfort and shock absorption. Breathable materials help wick away moisture, keeping players dry and comfortable during use.
To choose the right size for senior shin guards, measure the length of your leg from the knee to the top of the ankle. Most brands provide sizing charts that correlate leg measurements with specific sizes. It's important to ensure a snug fit without being too tight, as this can affect mobility and comfort during play.
Yes, senior shin guards come in various styles tailored for different sports, such as hockey, soccer, and lacrosse. Each sport may have specific design features that cater to the unique movements and impacts experienced during play. It's essential to select shin guards that are specifically designed for the sport you are participating in to ensure optimal protection and performance.
Comfort is crucial in senior shin guards as it directly impacts a player's performance and endurance during games or practices. Well-padded and properly fitting guards can prevent chafing and distractions, allowing players to focus on their game. Additionally, breathable materials can enhance comfort by reducing heat buildup and moisture.
Senior shin guards differ from junior shin guards primarily in size, fit, and level of protection. Senior guards are designed for adult players, offering a larger size range and more robust materials to withstand higher levels of impact. In contrast, junior shin guards are tailored for younger athletes, focusing on lighter materials and a fit that accommodates growing bodies.
