I keep the laces very loose and can slip my feet in without any effort. Laces can be easy tightened if you prefer. Sometimes sorel run small, I am usually a 7 and got a 7. 5 and it fits perfect.

I have these in tan and black, my absolute go- to winter boot. I do not wear socks, I just step in and go, leaving the laces loose. [ I am normally a size 6 but tried the 7 since that ’s what was available. I figured I am wearing heavier socks in the winter. The fit is good, even with thinner socks. There is room so it doesn ’ t feel too big or too small. All of that fur will definitely keep my feet warm in the winter. It hits about mid calf for me, which I like. They will be perfect for a snowy winter.

The only thing I can say in criticism is that they are n't slip- ons( I have to get my heels in), and had been looking for shoes/slippers that I would n't have to reach down to get on. They, also, slip off the heel as I walk. This would be annoying, except my foot goes right back in as I step down.

Just returned from AK and I had the chance to wear these in ice and snow. They are very stable, I did n't slip at all. The fit is nice because it allows for a thicker sock, but I did order my usual size. The sole has a noticeable cushion, which I like. There is a low pile/fleece lining that feels good!
