These boots seem well made despite the much lower price tag to Ugg brand. The wool blend of the lining is only 20% wool/ 80% other fibers but feels more plush and soft than similar Ugg boots which claims to have a higher wool content. The insole also offers more support and the outsole feels a bit sturdier as well. Currently wearing both pairs purchased concurrently and so far would prefer the Bearpaw.

First Pair still going strong( did have a the stich on one right slipper untie after several years, will have to get it retied/sewn). Basically these are well built slippers that will last several years. Soles after several years have held up well. Granted they are indoor slippers but have 100's of mile on carpet and hardwood floors.

I have had 3 pairs of the Encore Ice 5 over the years, and wear them daily. I keep one pair is for the house as my slippers, and another for short errands. My feet run cold and these are the one shoe with adequate support( unlike Uggs) that keep my feet toasty. They are super comfortable and not only have adequate support, the support is actually terrific. You are walk long distances in them.
