My boys prefer these briefs for their athletic use. I wish that we could find them without the given cups, as the are young and prefer a soft cup. They are true to size: my 60 lb 7 yo is in a sm, my 103 lb 11 yo prefers the youth xl.

After wearing the previous 221 where the cup would shift around, I was skeptical at first. The revised 221 does a really nice job of keeping my jewels intact, even without a cup. The plastic cup is there for peace of mind while I wear these shorts!

Loved the patriotic theme. Seem to fit better then the white compreshion shorts from here. Bought them for riding atv, paint ball, and hiking.
