I bought a pair of these when they first came out a couple of years ago and always saved them for my `` dress '' shorts. I always looked forward to wearing them as they are the most comfortable shorts I have ever owned. I finally decided to replace my lined Breeze shorts with the active breeze shorts because they are just so much more comfortable than the Breeze short. The extra comfort comes from the difference in the waste band. The old Breeze short had a typical stretch liner but the new active breeze short has more of smooth band where you do n't feel the waist band against the skin, you dont actually know you are wearing them.

They are more of a “ hug ” fit than other running shorts, but they didn ’ t move up my leg. I have worn all three pairs now on runs and errands. I ’ m a PT and avid runner. Been working out for 25 years and running for 17. My holy grail shoes/ clothing and items which ultimately can work well for both gym and running. These shorts have to be my favourite item in years as a result. For running the cut, liner, length and pockets are fantastic. Comfortable with great storage. For the gym they are equally good and the zip front pockets are ideal in for phone/ locker key etc. style wise love them too- not too tight or loose and a great length. I purchased 3 pairs and frequently use the black ones when PTing clients too. Previously used Patagonia strider pro shorts but these have taken the crown for me. Some reviews complain about the weight? Never heard such an unnecessary criticism in my life. These shorts have 7 pockets, 3 of which are zipped. They are a classic pair of featherweight marathon shorts. They are utility trail shorts. I ’ ll look out for more colours for sure!

My son loves these shorts. They are super lightweight and comfortable. The inner lining is very nice, and you hardly even notice it, but it works. He wears these to football practice or just lounging around the house, but they would also be perfect for running.

[ I really like the way these shorts fit…the waistband is really comfortable and the liner is a great feature too. I have used them to workout as well as when out and about—they really are what is advertised. If I had a suggestion it would be to add a back pocket—the front pockets are good and the zippered one is great for my wallet or keys, but my phone doesn ’ t fit in either one. All that said, while not cheap, they are worth the cost—so much so that I plan to buy two more pair and use them all summer.

I was not a huge fan of the low rise versions for coverage reasons and upon trying these on I fell in love. They have slightly more coverage, are super lightweight, beautiful colors, and they are great for strength training and running. Overall a great purchase for the spring/ summer. I ’ d recommend going a size up because they do fit slightly small but also because of the slit in the leg it would be easy to get away with going true to size if you are fine with a tighter waist band.

[ So far, really impressed with Nike ACG! Their line has some very well- designed and functional pieces for all kinds of outdoorsy activities. I ordered these for my brother. Some initial impressions:- They really weren ’ t kidding about the pockets! So many of them( hidden, zipped, small, large, front, back, you name it!). I ’ m not share how secure some pockets are, but in general, very convenient.- The material is very lightweight but sturdy. There ’s a mesh inner layer underneath as well, which looks very breathable and comfy.- The shorts are super adjustable! I accidentally got a large for my brother, but we were able to make it work because of the elastic waist and drawstrings.- The shirts have some loops meant for hiking poles( so cool?!). I bet you could also add a carabiner or something.- I really liked the neutral color scheme. The top of the shorts is gray and has an interesting plaid print.- They are a little pricier than what I ’ m used to, but given the unique features, I think this might be worth it for an avid hiker or if they ’ re on sale. It ’s too chilly to wear these out now, but I ’ m sure they ’ ll be perfect for indoor use or for hikes in warmer weather!

I had the previous version of these shorts which were already great. These are a definite improvement. So many pockets which are now more accessible and the material is lighter than the previous version. They are probably a bit too expensive so an especially good buy when on sale

I love the clever pocket that hides the tie strings—it ’s such a thoughtful detail. The zippers are perfect for storing small essentials like my ID and chapstick. The fabric is light, breathable, and great for temperature control during my runs. What impressed me the most was how flexible the shorts were; they moved with me every step of the way, enhancing my running experience. The only thing I ’ d change is opting for a darker shade, as the light gray showed sweat marks a bit more than I would ’ ve liked.

[ I really like the feel of the shorts. When wearing these shorts to play basketball, I loved how they are very lightweight. The fabric provided me with a breathable and moisture- wicking feel that was very comfortable. The shorts were a bit snug when I first put them on but when playing basketball, they were very flexible. The waistband was flexible on my body and didn ’ t dig in my thighs while running. The style of the shorts provided me with ample amounts of space to place my keys and my phone. I also like the inner- lined of the shorts that provide me with support. The amount of space to store things was one of my favorite parts of these shorts, including the loops to latch things onto them. One thing I would change about these shorts would be the fitting of the shorts once I first put them on. The shorts are comfortable but for someone with thicker thighs, the internal lining could cut into the thigh. I would get a size bigger just for my thighs.

These shorts are great for running. The pocket inside is big enough to hold my iPhone. The quality is good as well. If you are on the fence regarding size, I would recommend sizing up as they are a bit small. I ordered a medium and I am 5 ’ 9 ” and around 170 lbs.
