The original skate was too small I got online with Dick's Chat line and within a few minutes a return was processed and a replacement skate was ordered in the correct size. I received the replacement skate in 3 days and the return slip was emailed to me the same day. Dick's went ahead and shipped the skate without me having to purchase the same pair and before they received the incorrect pair back in stock. This was not Dick's error but mine, I ordered the wrong size. The skate is great it looks like a good quality of material and is what I expected. For sporting goods Dick's will get my business.

As a young boy we could n't afford hockey skates so I always wore my sisters figure skates. Much later when I was now on my own I took back into ice skating but this time wearing men's hockey skates. I have used Lightning TRSs, Twisters, and Maxxums for the last 30 years. This is the best skate ever for Skate to Ski. It ’s stiffer than other skates so the support is outstanding. I got a very very bad first roller skate as my first ever one. When I switched it with the RB Cruiser 4x80. Man..... The roller skate rolls by itself. Ahahaha almost! Comfortable as a Feather! And fast enough. I 'll upgrade it with ILQ9 bearings and Undercover cosmic lime wheels. I 'm looking forward to get my second rollerblade, but I 'm unsure which model will fit my feet better. A lot of the reviews say to buy a size smaller, but I just bought a 9 women's( I 'm typically an 8- 9 normal shoes, and an 8 in men's skates) and they fit pretty well. While there's definitely some extra room, I laced them a bit tighter and they fit perfectly. The boot goes about an inch or two more up your leg than average rink rental skates, so they have more support and feel more `` attached '' to your leg. The toe stops are pretty large and flat( not peg- shaped), so it's really easy to slow down or stop. They do weigh 7. 5 pounds total, so be prepared for a workout. Because of that, it may also be harder to sustain high speeds unless you 're really working at it, but it's been easier for me to stop or slow down quickly. Overall, they feel very sturdy and strong, they do n't hurt my feet or give me blisters, and they roll very nicely. No adjustments required; I skated on them for a few hours immediately after opening the box. They worked very well on the smooth concrete sidewalks at the park, but rolled a little bit easier and faster at the indoor skating rink, so be advised. I ordered them on a Friday; they took about 5 business days to ship. I had to call to change my address while the order was in route, and the customer service representative was very helpful. Overall, great product.

The wheels are HUGE and great for outdoor skating. I would n't recommend for beginners. Get smaller wheels if you 're just learning. Only downside so far is the straps tend to not stay tight. They loosen very easily. I 'm 6' 6 with 13 size shoe. These are true to size. Wearing these 195mm wheels and I 'm over 7' tall which is a long way to fall. Make sure you get safety gear as these have no brake.

I bought these because I needed rollerblades that would do well on uneven sidewalks and/or rocks/pebbles on the road. I figured with the big wheels, that would help... and I was right! They are very sturdy, comfortable and fantastic quality. The only cons I ’ ve come across are that they ’ re not very agile and feel a little clunky and heavy. I wish they were made with two wheels instead of three. However, 3 wheels are probably better for a beginner/average skater( since it provides better front to back stability), but I wish there was a 2- wheel option for more advanced skaters. Overall though, I am very happy with these skates.

Wheels are for outside skating not ribbed for indoor and sizing is off, I wear size 6- 6. 5 womens& size 4 is what fit, size 7 was huge even on a guy at the store that wore size 9 in mens!!! Super cute, but I did not keep them as I needed to buy new wheels& bearings for indoor rink use!!!

The rental skates at our local ice skating rink left a lot to be desired. They were uncomfortable and the laces were shredded to tatters and nearly impossible to tie properly without destroying the few remaining threads. So, we decided to buy our 7 year old daughter these skates for her Learn to Skate lessons. These have been working out great! They are very comfortable( nice padding around ankle) and work well. We got them sharpened prior to first use at the rink ’s pro shop, of course. I ’ m not saying it ’s all due to the skates, but my daughter is one of the best skaters in her class! We are very happy with this purchase and will buy again when she outgrows this size. For reference, she wears a size 1 sneaker and we bought the size 2 skates which give her a little wiggle room to grow into( we ’ re using thick socks in the meanwhile).

My son has really enjoyed these skates. They are comfortable and roll really well. Don ’ t be fooled by the wheels not spinning in the air very well. On the ground they work perfectly. My only complaint is the boot comes with the laces loosely tied so there is no shape to the boot. You really have to cinch down the laces hard to get a snug fit and start to reshape the boots.

It amazes me how much better you can skate owning your own pair of skates rather then renting them at the roller rink. My Grandsons skating improved 100% within one night of skating with these new skates. You figure the average rate to rent skates is about 4. 50 per night. These skates paid for themselves as far as I am concerned and they are comparable to much higher priced skates.
