They are warm and comfortable( felt a little tight and narrow at first but now feel like a glove). I wear them on longhaul flights( change out my shoes once we are in the air) and it's easy to wipe down the soles after they touch the lav floors before wearing them at gueshouses, hostels, and in other peoples homes. I love that the back of the shoe can be stomped on or slipped over the heel, depending on what I need at the moment.
