It does need to have a collared shirt worn under otherwise would be itchy but that adds to the warmth. I 've saved a lot on heating bills and like that it is mostly made of natural fabrics. Delightful weight, very nice hand feel, zipper is a little stiff and catches. The soft blue material is a beautiful color and gets lots of compliments. roomy so do n't size up. The only negative is the sleeve cuff is pilling but I keep just trimming it and it seems to be ok.
