I wear this baselayer weight for cross country skiing when it ’s above 30 degrees or so. Smartwool varies in size for me, these are not extremely fitted like some of the 1/4 zips so go with your normal size.

Some of my favorite around the house socks! I keep buying new ones every 3 years or so as I wear holes in them from frequent use. Sounds weird to people who don ’ t wear wool blend socks but these are completely fine for a few days without washing. When I was I do so without softner liquid and air dry. Well worth the money!

So it was finally time to replace my 23 yr old pair of these. Yep, I bought the 2003 version of these at a local ski supply outfit in prep for my first motorcycle trip to the Smokey Mtns.
