When I purchased, I was concerned that the HTL lens would be too bright when sunny. That concern was put to rest on a partly cloudy day on the golf course. The lenses are, well, just right. Not too dark and not too light. The green tint is not really an issue either. My other Jims are amber color. These glasses have great contrast for golf. Very happy with this purchase.

I have a couple of Maui Jim sunglasses, and just like the others, these don ’ t disappoint. Great for the beach. They tone the light down and give you a clean view. I would say the nose pads could be softer but they do hold really well. I switch glasses through the day so I don ’ t know how these are for all day wear.

These are an excellent replacement and are very similar to the Typhoon, so I 'm very happy with them.
