My son has developed a new found love of tetherball. We went to Dick's and they did n't have any in the store, but they suggested ordering right there at the store with a direct home delivery and free shipping. Perfect and easy. It took about 5 days to arrive, and we were provided tracking, so we knew when it was coming. We installed it that night, and my son was playing with it the next day. Everything was included. I was impressed with this product: not only does it have a durable net and rope/stake system to hold it in place, it also has a bright yellow rope boundary you can stake in place. We thought the birdies were too light, until we started to play and saw that they are perfect-- it's all in the way you hit them. They will travel!( A word of caution: be careful when unpacking the boundary rope; do n't just drop it, but take it out carefully. We just dropped it on the ground, expecting to easily pull into out into place, but it tangled so badly that it took us almost an hour to untangle! I realize that this was not the rope's fault...) I do think the kit was too expensive on this website; it was available elsewhere for over$ 25 less. I purchased it here bc I had a gift card that covered over 50% of the cost, incl. shipping.

We got this to replace the one we bought years ago and basically played into the ground. Kids love it. Most of the pieces are still in great shape but the net wore out after~ 5 years sitting outside in hot sun and torrential rains. Ca n't imagine having our boys and their friends grow up without it. The rackets that come with the net are not the same quality as ones a serious competitor would buy, but great for family use, and you really want to have 4 that work instead of just one really great one. Ca n't beat it for the price.

I 've played for years with this net system. We use the same net every time we play and we play for a minimum of two hours every time we play. This net is still in perfect condition. You can set it up virtually anywhere and in next to no time. Very easy assembly and disassembly. The stock stakes are not the best but very easy to replace.
