I did a lotttt of research before buying this. It's my first suitcase style pack, meaning it zips open wide. I travel a lot, carry a lot of camera gear, and always my laptop and a bunch of electronics, and it all has to fit as a personal item under my seat. I had read this would only fit a 15 '' laptop, but it accommodates my 16 '' MBP with no problem. I had read suitcase style backpacks are boring when you need to quickly stuff something inside or take something out, but if you arrange the zipper correctly, you can also do that here. Now I have the perfect pack which fits everything I need, but I do n't have to dig to the bottom blindly to grab something, or take everything out to reach the bottom items. And the color makes me feel sharp.

Loving the separated visible net clamshell for packing so wo n't have to dig through packing cubes to locate what is needed. Picked the bronze color as it's unusual and unique and easy to spot. In an attempt to try one- bag traveling, I went on a search for a versatile pack that can be carried on a flight and is easy to walk around with for a while in a city. I ’ m a recovering over- packer. What I ’ ve found is that this pack fits everything you need as long as you can do laundry. I can very comfortably fit about 7 outfits( mostly packable clothing), undergarments for 7 days, 2 pairs of pajamas, sandals, and a pair of tennis shoes. Not to mention, all of my necessary toiletries fit, I can throw my laptop in the dedicated sleeve, and have my reusable water bottle in the side pocket. And that ’s just the main pack. What really sold me on this pack is the detachable sling bag. When flying, I put the main bag overhead and have the sling bag under the seat in front of me. This allows me to have all my necessities( headphones, chargers, etc) easily accessible without compromising my leg room like a regular sized backpack might.

[ The removal of the small zippered opening to the front pocket was a great improvement over the predecessor Daylight version. The semi- circular opening greatly improves access to the front pocket. The dedicated laptop section is an improvement. Evening out the bag by enabling the main body lid to hold more is a plus. I prefer the extended yoke in the shoulder straps, being fairly thick in the chest from a life of PT. The enlarged bottle sleeve is appreciated, however my OCD needs one on the opposite side to balance it out/look uniform.

Main compartment zipper is reinforced and does not het floppy/wrinkly, making zipping/unzipping easier and getting into the bag easier. Plenty of compartments and and carry styles thanks to many attachment loops for shoulder belt and handles. Handles do dig in into shoulders though if you carry heavy stuff. Also, magnets in to keep the handles together hold the handles quite poorly. But it's really all the nitpicks I can think of.

I am a 35 years old nomad, and I 've been a nomad since my childhood( thank you, mom and dad!). So you can imagine that I ’ ve gone through my fair share of travel gear. But five years ago, I made the switch to this backpack, and let me tell you: it changed the game!! This isn ’ t just a bag; it ’s my life in carry- on form. We ’ re talking everything: clothes, two laptops, cameras, wires, other electronics, toiletries, you name it... I even managed to attach a tripod and camping tent on the front face for a while.( Who even designs something that versatile? Genius!!!) I am not the most careful person with my belongings, so backpack has seen it all. I ’ ve flown on airlines across every continent, and not once did it get issues using it as a carry- on. Okay, there was that one tiny plane where it wouldn ’ t fit in the overhead bin. But I found an easy solution: I pulled out my laptops, slid this backpack under the seat, and we were good to go.( Sure, the flight was cramped, but blame the plane, not the backpack 😂) It ’s not just about the space, though. This bag is comfy to carry for hours, perfectly balanced, with multiple carrying options and a sternum strap that ’s somehow both lightweight and super durable. And yes, it ’s heavier than my previous bags. But I ca n't complain, because it ’s built to last. Five years of travel( and trust me, my trips are not gentle), and it still looks like I just bought it. No scratches, no tears, not much wear( you can see it in the pic, although the backpack was super dirty on one of those pics lol). And I loooove the water resistance. This thing has survived downpours that left me drenched while my gear stayed dry. Mind you, I have my stuff inside plastic bags inside my backpack, just in case. But the last few times, nothing inside got wet anyway. I haven ’ t tested it recently, and I know that the water resistance may decrease over the years... but from my past experiences, it ’s never let me down.( I ’ ll update this review if that ever changes) If you ’ re on the fence because of the price, but you are looking for something to use for years, let me save you some time: just get it. After five years, I can ’ t imagine using another backpack. It ’s my ultimate travel companion, and if ever it breaks, I would buy another one for sure. I hope this helps someone!!!

Had this a couple of months and just took my first trip. I bought a pair of ski boots and checked them with my luggage. On my return trip I was worried they would get banged up so a light bulb went off. Could I possibly fit two huge size twelve ski boots in my Peak design. Holy crap. They fit like a glove. As if they were designed for the bag. Bonus, I said hmmmm. I wonder if I can use the straps to tie my helmet to the outside. boom works perfectly. And I also put my tech bag, lap top, iPad, kindle, head phones, goggles, etc in the bag and I need even need to expand to 45 liters. I also bought the sling bag which I carry in the bag and use as a day pack, it takes up zero room in the bag. Oh and I am still finding little compartments I did n't know where there. [ I recently purchased Jordan's Sport Ball Carrier, and I have mixed feelings about it. First off, the design is undeniably cute and stylish, making it a fun accessory to take to the court. I appreciate how spacious it is; it can hold multiple balls without feeling cramped. However, I do have some concerns regarding its durability. The mesh material, which is made of plastic, raises doubts about its longevity, especially if I load it with too many balls. I fear that the mesh could break more easily than anticipated. On a positive note, the thick straps provide excellent support and comfort during transport. Overall, I ’ m excited to use this carrier, but I hope it stands the test of time with regular use. If they could improve the durability, it would be an even more fantastic product.

[ I got this carrier for my daughter who plays club volleyball. This is a ball carrier for a basketball, but can be used for any sport. My daughter is always decked out in Nike and Jordan, so this goes perfectly with her Nike court shoes and Nike pros that are also black and white. Club starts in two weeks, so we made sure her ball and the rest of the items would fit, before she got to use it for a game. I ordered this bag& had it personalized for my 13 year old daughter. She has 2 lacrosse sticks and was carrying a bag with her sticks and a 2nd bag with her other equipment in it. Excellent well designed backpack. It can hold your shoes and ball. The built in netting can hold a volleyball and then can be put away if Not. The bottle holders on both sides can hold a 40 oz metal bottle and are so deep, the bottles will not fall out. Ultra durable. Even with shoes on the inside, there is plenty of room for books, laptop and any other things you keep such as phone, headphones etc. The straps on the bottom hold my roller massager. This bag is so much better than a standard backpack for volleyball players.
