[ This is n't my first Sea to Summit compression sack. They are durable and well- made and just do n't seem to tear or fail. You can really pack a sleeping bag into it. And even though it's not water proof, it does seem to repel water.

[ I use it for a 10 deg hammock under quilt as mine only came with a stuff sack. Works well and is lightweight making it easier to keep things in my bag organized and where I want them in my bag. I 've only used it 3 times so far but i do n't see any issues of wear and tear for many years as i do n't usually beat up a compression sack. I do n't store my quilt in it when it's not being used, I just hang it on the hanger with the quilt.

[ When I travel space is important. Not like the whole seeings “ billions and billions of stars ” at night thing. But more of making big bulky things fit into a smaller space. Kinda like a Tardis in reverse! It ’s smaller inside my pack than outside. This works for squishy things only! It will not work for your trail bike…. Don ’ t ask how I know. Really! [ This is my go too stuff sack in this price range. It has held up in some heavy brush and kayaking trips. It fits all my sleeping bags. It compresses well. Because the material is soft it doubles as a pillow when stuffed with clothes and I can hang it by the straps to store food out of animals reach.

[ The stuff bag that came with my EE 0 degree bag was too small. This compressor bag is perfect. It's big enough to get the bag in without any expletives, and compresses down to 14 inches so I can place it sideways in the pack. Love it.

[ I like the lightness of these. I like the compressibility. The scouts tend to have internal frame packs and need to squeeze things tight, this does the job. I still use an external frame pack, the packs straps go under the compressing stings to keep the bag from sliding sideways off of my pack without having to overtighten the pack straps. These bags have become my favorite.

[ The fabric seemed a bit flimsy by touch but seemed to perform well. It got my 2 person big Agnes king Solomon sleeping bag down to smaller than a gallon of milk( maybe 3 quarts).
