They 're flexible and keep my legs protected from scrapes. They also keep my legs warm outside while I walk to the climbing gym in the winter. It is also light enough that when washed i do n't need to put it in the dryer, i just hang it to air dry. I bought a pair last year and a 2nd pair just recently in a different color. the only i wish theses pants have are elastic waistband. The recommended use is hiking and when hiking the elastic waist band would 've been more comfortable with all that moving and bending you will do. As a larger guy, I 've always struggled with buying baseball pants. They 're always either skin tight, or so baggy that I 'd fear a strong gust of wind would sail me away. These pants are the best compromise on the market. Take it from me, I 've tried EVERYTHING. They offer plenty of room for movement, while still looking like a professional grade pant.
