This is a stainless steel and silicone materials. Has a safety lid. The pot is awesome, exactly what you think it would be. It collapses together for backpacking to save space. If anything gets remotely stuck in the bottom it comes out immediately with a sponge. I love this set. Coffee stays really hot for longer than in my regular mug. The handles are removable and nice to have on there. The bowl is the perfect size for breakfast. Portable and heat up with even distribution.

When it's time to stop digging through your institution's/outfitters's fleet of incomplete kitchen totes with random crusty tools from decades ago, consider this set for one- stop shopping. It has pretty much all the tools I want on a group trip or front country kitchen. I like the way it interlocks to pack small( and, more critically, more easy to find in the group kitchen tote common to many programs.) Small packing is the goal on kayak trips, so I love this compact toolkit. The addition of tongs is appreciated, too. I like stainless for program use much more than plastic, so another win.

He used it for backpacking meals since it's much easier to eat them out of a bowl than the bag they come in and says the bowl fits a full meal pretty well. I recently purchased the Detour Stainless Steel dinnerware set, and it is fantastic. I already own many pieces from the Frontier Ultralight collection and this new set is a different dimension in collapsible dinnerware. The cups may be best- they hold 16 oz of my favorite beverages, from morning juice to evening beer. They 're very sturdy but pack down small, and while not as light as the Frontier cups, they may replace them even on backpacking trips. The bowls are super cool, too. They collapse small and have a rubberized ring on the bottom side, preventing them from sliding around. The bowls are big and wide enough to serve double duty as bowls or plates, so I think the cup and bowl combo will be my new backpacking setup. The plates are great, too, and have the same ring on the bottom side, but those will likely stay in the campervan. Overall I highly recommend this set for anyone looking to raise the bar on their dinnerware.

I bought this pot without really knowing how big of a pot I was getting. It ended up being the perfect size for my backpacking trips( I got the 775ml)! Its very packable and also has a nice snap top closure to stuff the pot with other gear/clothes to maximize space usage in the pack. It's light enough to take without it being a hassle. Also, having a lid makes boiling water really fast. My partner and I usually eat freeze dried backpacker meals for dinner and for the ones that take about 1. 5- 2 cups of water each makes this pot perfect as well as it can boil up to 3 cups( granted we usually like putting a little less water in the backpacker meals as they tend to run watery for our liking). Great buy and great price!

These pots are great. I have two, the 775 and the 1. 1. I have had the 1. 1 for a long time and it seems to be great for cooking dinner on backpacks and camping nicely for two or three people. The 775 is just right for two, boiling water for freeze dried or simmering up dehydrated meals. The lock tight lids are really nice for travel and both of these pots hold my pocket rocket with additional stuff. Use the lid as a plate too. The handles are solid and built in. Ca n't loose them! Yeah some complain about the pouring from them but adjust your teachnique and it is no problem. So solid for campfire use if you wish. Stainless is a little harder to clean but everything else about these sweet pots make up for that. We have lighter cook kits but these things are our go to pots every time.

You already know that as soon as it arrived on my doorstep, my husband and I brought out all of our camping supplies. We tested out the pot on our camping stove( just with water) and it heated up quickly. The quality of the collapsible pot was excellent. The only trouble we had was figuring out how to open it up initially, as you have to remove the handle and then reattach it. It will be very handy for our upcoming camping trips, as camping season is about to begin for us.
