Because it is collapsible so doesn ’ t feel bulky and is in fact lightweight! This great for cookout or pot luck as the lid locks, while food is secured can be traveled safely with, and food will still remain hot! The pot is a size that if it ’s just you or one other person you can eat out of the pot directly!
