[ This actually comes double boxed which I really like because it protects the product. It is very heavy because of the pot being cast iron. The pot is a 5 gallon cast iron with feet and it's pre- seasoned which is awesome. It also has an aluminum lid to cover the pot. The frame of the pot you bought together so it's provides extra sturdiness for the cooker. It's heated by using a propane tank. This is awesome for tailgating or for camping because even though it's called the jambalaya pot you can virtually cook tons of stuff in this like chili or soups or do a fish fry. The only thing it says you can not use it for is to fry a whole turkey which is understandable because it's only 5 gallon. If you love camping or tailgating or just like to have a pot instead of a grill this is awesome to have. For my large family we do a lot of Chili's and gumbos and soups so this is going to really be great on our next camping trip in a couple of weeks

This is a great skillet set for home or camp use. You can use the pans individually or combine them for dutch oven cooking. Also can be used on the stove top, or in the oven. I have made fried chicken, deep dish pizzas, cornbread, apple pie, frittatas, stir fry and breads in this set so far. I have used these almost daily, and have since purchased a few other sized lodge skillets. You have to cook with a lower heat than your traditional non- stick pan and have to use a bit more oil, but the more you use it the more it becomes seasoned and acts more like a non- stick pan. Patience is key with these. The handles do get hot, so pick up a set of handle mitts that lodge makes.

Wow you do not need to go to the forest to have a real outdoor barbecue, you have it in your own back yard real ranch/mountain cooking love it. I got one for my husband as a gift and one for my neighbor as a xmas gift, they both love to do dutch oven cooking so this is like heaven to them.

I gave the rating of 5 stars but really 4. 5 stars if they made an attachment that you could hang a pot or kettle from then it would be a 5 star. With that said I truly love this setup I have cook eggs pancakes sausage beacon tortilla. It's has seasoned will. I 've been using it on camping trips and plan on using it at home. I 'm going to replace my outdoor metal fireplace with a fire pit so I can use it instead of my BBQ. I like how well it works with wood. I have told all of my friends and family.

i bought this to use when the wife and i go camping. I have use charcoal and gass cookers my whole life. I am ready to get rid of all my Bar- B- Q's and just use this. We took our Coleman- 1900 3- IN- 1 STOVE PPN GOLD C002 with us to show them how to cook fresh fish we caught. Plus they had a blast cooking everything they could have at home, but it was nice that they spent time outside. Kids love food and my coleman will be coming all the time. Also it comes with a carrying case for the plates which is great for when the stove isn ’ t in use. I really enjoy the black with gold. It is very easy to clean up and put away. Putting on the propane canister are pretty easy. I really enjoy using this stove. It ’s a great size to cook on. It ’s perfect to use for camping, or even just taking it to the park. I use this grill for multi- day hikes. I augment my backpacking stove with this grill, especially when I make a fire pit and decide to cook over the pit. The grill works well when using a small layer of charcoal or firewood since there is n't enough height for larger pieces of wood. This is a good purchase and will bring it with me on multi- day hikes.
