[ This actually comes double boxed which I really like because it protects the product. It is very heavy because of the pot being cast iron. The pot is a 5 gallon cast iron with feet and it's pre- seasoned which is awesome. It also has an aluminum lid to cover the pot. The frame of the pot you bought together so it's provides extra sturdiness for the cooker. It's heated by using a propane tank. This is awesome for tailgating or for camping because even though it's called the jambalaya pot you can virtually cook tons of stuff in this like chili or soups or do a fish fry. The only thing it says you can not use it for is to fry a whole turkey which is understandable because it's only 5 gallon. If you love camping or tailgating or just like to have a pot instead of a grill this is awesome to have. For my large family we do a lot of Chili's and gumbos and soups so this is going to really be great on our next camping trip in a couple of weeks

Our family has several stoves ranging in size for backpacking and kayaking to car camping to portable cooking for large crowds. This single burner is great by itself or in combo with a two burner or another single burner for weekend camping. You save the room on your picnic table and the power of this stove boils water in a jiffy for coffee and cooks up breakfast for six in a jiffy using the single burner griddle( sold separately) on medium low heat. We very rarely use our table top stoves anymore- the quality at 30k BTU output more than makes up for the added bulk if you have room. Get yourself a two burner with griddle and bbq box and save this one for pans and coffee making on an open flame so you do n't have to swap out accessories. You 'll be able to cook for the entire camp! We have a dedicated 5lb tank for this and it will last a week with regular cooking. I do n't give out five stars easily- this unit earns every single one.

Pro 14 two burner cooktop Went to our inaugural Halloween bike ride and one of the guys pulled out a older version of the Pro 14 two burner cooktop and griddle. I could n't believe how easily it setup, cleaned up and made a ton of food for every that came that day. It worked so well that my wife and I ordered one immediately to use on our own trips, gatherings and just some Sunday morning cookout fun. We also purchased the two burner griddle and griddle carrying bags for both the stove and griddle, so nice to keep everything neat and sorted. I 've only used it a couple of times so far but one thing i really noticed was how nice the burner control is, you can turn it down all the way and not worry about the burner flaming out. My only complaint which is minor is that the flip out red lid covers do n't sit completely flat like my friends did. Perhaps they will wear in with a bit more use.

We bought the griddle and the grill accessories. One of my favorite things is that which ever one I ’ m not using acts is a warmer as I continue cooking other food. I purchased the Everest 2X based on feedback from other trip leaders in my non profit group. This stove works great for fast cooking for a group and our organization is using these stoves to replace Coleman stoves. The stove goes through propane faster than Coleman stoves however so bring plenty of fuel if cooking for a group in the field. Stove is easy to set up, light and sturdy in windy conditions. So far it is everything I could want in a camp stove, looking forward to using it on upcoming trips.

So it's been 2 months and I 've been smoking like a mad Man. This was a replacement for an Oklahoma Joe's longhorn. I always smoked with pure oak and it was very difficult to control the temperature. This smoker is ridiculously simple. I 've done pulled pork, homemade pastrami, ribs, and brisket. I was also very pleasantly surprised about the Wi- Fi and wireless. I was able to check the temperatures when I had to go out somewhere just in case. This is for a long smoke on a brisket is pretty handy. I also purchased the sides seer which include a ridiculously large BTU burner. That burner has been phenomenal for searing sous vide steaks in under a minute. One thing I did not initially buy was the griddle, but I ordered that and with the sides here burner it is one of the handiest griddles I 've ever used, best temperature control over the whole area. I have a high- end gas stove in the house and it's griddle does n't come close to how good the temperature control is. My one recommendation is somehow that I do n't have to throw away that shelf and use it or mount it at the bottom. You can see that I made my own modification to put that shelf instead of throwing it away to mount on the bottom.

I use only Pit Boss utensils for the griddle and clean with Dawn soap, water and the Pit Boss scrub pad( recommended by Pit Boss). Another tip would be to not use oil( as you would with a steel grill). I use butter and only enough to flavor. My experience is better than most reviews. You can ’ t treat this griddle like a steel top.

Have had this for about 5 weeks, and cooked steaks, burgers, hash browns, eggs,& vegies. The cooking heat range is exceptional compared to my old grill. I bought a laser heat gauge to fine tune the exact heat I want, and it works great. The control knobs maintain the exact heat I want. Clean- up is the best part of this griddle. Start to finish less than 10 minutes, including re- oil for next use. The steaks maintain the juice inside, unlike my old grill, where the juice fell through the grills. I wonder if some of the long- term complaints are due to failure to maintain the griddle with oil and after use maintenance. My only complaint is I waited to long to switch from grill to griddle

I have numerous smokers and grills. I enjoy them all but never had a griddle before this. Bought it this afternoon and already I can tell I 'm sold on the nonstick tip and even- heating surface. This thing is great there is some learning on it I had 2 other griddles with no coating, and this is much easier to keep clean. I clean with soap& water and its ready for the next cook no need to oil. Love this thing.

I bought this griddle 2 months ago and would recommend the ultimate highly to everyone. The only problem I had was the first time I used it burned the bacon. Since then everything had been great! I purchased this griddle a little more than 2yrs ago and it has been phenomenal!! I did have an initial issue with one of the burner nacklights not working and they sent me out a new know with backlight immediately, no problem at all. Every time Father's Day /Mother's Day approaches I always think of what a great gift this made for me.**** There is a current issue however, I do need a new 5 burner cooktop and can not get one anywhere and this is not available in the current parts list. I have not been able get assistance with this thus far so any help would be appreciated!!

[ Just bought this immediately before we used it for a couple night car camping. Does just what it was designed to, held a heavy, full, cast iron pot over an open flame just fine. Was sturdy as long as it had a relatively even surface to be set on. We balanced it on some rocks( that later we turned into a coal oven) to get it up higher. Folded up nicely to fit perfectly in a bin with other cooking stuff. Would 've given 5 stars if it was just an eensy bit wider, but still worked great.
