We have owned this camp stove for 14 years..... we use it for camping, but also to cook for large events at my kids' schools, and now for my school class. It's simply the best option for any outdoor kitchen. We love it.

[ I purchased a 14in explorer and converted it to natural gas. I wanted it to cook things in frying pans and not in the house. Things like fish. It works great and then I discovered the accessories and add- ons. I added the single pizza oven and it's just something else. Took a few tries to get the hang of it but I 'm enjoying the pizza now.

I have had my Explorer for 7 years now and it is going strong! We went from tent to Pop- up to Travel Trailer now and have only cooked on our CC. My Father- in- law and 2 brothers- in- law also have them. Have almost all of the accessories. My only issue is that it seems to get heavier every year?! LOL It IS the only thing we cook on, period! I also bought a CC WW smoker and the 600FTG as well!

I volunteer heavily with both the BSA and the GSA and needed something to be portable and have the ability to cook a decent amount of food. I bought the Explorer 14 2 Burner Stove And the full size griddle for it. It was easy to assemble, Easy to clean, and I was able to cook two breakfasts and a dinner with ease for a troop of hungry Girlscouts this past weekend. It also heats up water for dishes and cocao pretty fast! Looking back I wish I had also purchased the single burner griddle and the leg levelers. Overall a great stove. It is going to go with me on all future camp outs!

Great Stove. I own three total, but this one is our elk camp stove. We use it 3 weeks per year and it's buried in a stash on our property the rest of the year. It's been up there for 18 years and fires up every time we pull it out. We also have the two burner and three burner griddle that have lasted since our very first three burner stove over 20 years ago.

We use this all the time, but especially in the summer so that our kitchen does n't get any more heat, thus saving money by lightening our a/c burden. Our family has several stoves ranging in size for backpacking and kayaking to car camping to portable cooking for large crowds. This single burner is great by itself or in combo with a two burner or another single burner for weekend camping. You save the room on your picnic table and the power of this stove boils water in a jiffy for coffee and cooks up breakfast for six in a jiffy using the single burner griddle( sold separately) on medium low heat. We very rarely use our table top stoves anymore- the quality at 30k BTU output more than makes up for the added bulk if you have room. Get yourself a two burner with griddle and bbq box and save this one for pans and coffee making on an open flame so you do n't have to swap out accessories. You 'll be able to cook for the entire camp! We have a dedicated 5lb tank for this and it will last a week with regular cooking. I do n't give out five stars easily- this unit earns every single one.

Dont be fooled by its size, this grill is built to last decades and serves as a faithful companion is your cooking arsenal. Whether youre at the beach, campsite, backyard or on your tailgate, this grill is perfect for compact cooking and entertaining. Being cast iron this grill retains and radiates heat incredibly well and allows for two grate settings. You can use the legs or if you need a hotter cook just flip the grate over and by lowering it you put your food that much closer to the coals. I used lump charcoal for my first cook and this grill did an excellent job and is easily going to be the perfect side kick to my sous vide cooks that need a sear. The grate is an improvement to the Lodge Sportsman in many ways. First it has no logo which in my opinion allows for more searing space. Second the grates are ribbed which easily help hold foods that are prone to rolling around loke hot dogs in place. The ribbed grates also provide excellent sear marks, which lets be honest, you don ’ t get full on fancy, but a visually appealing meal is always fun. You can use this grill for hot dogs and hamburgers or use it as a hibachi grill and everyone can cook their own meat on it. You can easily use this to roast smores after your cookout providing plenty of cooking versatility while also delivering a fun and entertaining experience.

Trip Leader
I purchased the Everest 2X based on feedback from other trip leaders in my non profit group. This stove works great for fast cooking for a group and our organization is using these stoves to replace Coleman stoves. The stove goes through propane faster than Coleman stoves however so bring plenty of fuel if cooking for a group in the field. Stove is easy to set up, light and sturdy in windy conditions. So far it is everything I could want in a camp stove, looking forward to using it on upcoming trips.

A fine camp stove, quick lighting and powerful burners at 20, 000 BTUs each. For comparison, the largest burner on a home gas stove is usually 20, 000 BTUs. Folds up nicely and works flawlessly. A solid purchase.

I have to agree with the majority of the people that have rated this stove anyone else was rated at less than five stars absolutely has no clue what they 're doing. I have wiped mine down repeatedly with all kinds of cleaners etc the finish on this product is second to none it's well applied powder coat and it is solid and I mean solid is not cheap tinsy little metal like some of these old camp kitchens. I especially love the burners cooking in the wind they 've held up beautifully I 'm able to boil water at no time at all and the heat that's produced by those burners is fantastic it's the last stove I think I 'll ever buy I 've got a trailer and I 've got a Jeep and it's going in both of them!

I have a 14 '' 2- Burner and use on few fishing trips each year, last year we added the griddle and we are doing more that just frying fish. Looking forward to our next trip.

Pro 14 two burner cooktop Went to our inaugural Halloween bike ride and one of the guys pulled out a older version of the Pro 14 two burner cooktop and griddle. I could n't believe how easily it setup, cleaned up and made a ton of food for every that came that day. It worked so well that my wife and I ordered one immediately to use on our own trips, gatherings and just some Sunday morning cookout fun. We also purchased the two burner griddle and griddle carrying bags for both the stove and griddle, so nice to keep everything neat and sorted. I 've only used it a couple of times so far but one thing i really noticed was how nice the burner control is, you can turn it down all the way and not worry about the burner flaming out. My only complaint which is minor is that the flip out red lid covers do n't sit completely flat like my friends did. Perhaps they will wear in with a bit more use.

Since we bought this for memorial day and didn ’ t get a chance to use it all summer I was starting to have buyers remorse. But after using it one long weekend I ’ m in love. We bought the griddle and the grill accessories. One of my favorite things is that which ever one I ’ m not using acts is a warmer as I continue cooking other food. I literally planned an entire three day weekend of cooking around my new camp chef cooking system even though we have a camper with a stove and oven. I wasn ’ t sure I needed the pro with the flip out shelves but now I can ’ t imagine not having them. Worth every penny.

[ I bought this camp stove for camping off grid in our teardrop trailer. It is solidly construction and the high btu output means you can make a pot of coffee or cook your burgers in no time flat, even at high altitude. The stove is very solidly constructed and I like the fact that I can run it off LP and not those little gas bottles which offer little run time and create a lot of litter.

Long time Camper, restaurant veteran. Using stove for first time on current trip. Seems very sturdy and well made. Excellent temp control from low to big heat output. In my opinion this is the best Coleman Stove. The clicking igniter is more durable than the push button type and it does n't move the whole stove when trying to lite- up. The wind deflectors are simple and perform as advertised, the grate is durable and provides adequate support. I expect to have 50 year life with this stove in which it will outlast me. This stove is great it heats well, is compact, and is easy to use. I do wish the grate had a clip or something so it did n't slide out of the well when it's time for storage, but that is minor. We have it in a Plano box we use as a mess kit so once it is in there it's pretty secure. The only suggestion would be to put the knobs for the gas and the sparker on the same side. It's a little too wide with them on opposite sides to neatly store away. Otherwise I think this will be a great addition to our camp gear. We had no issues with the flame flickering in the light breezes we encountered. It seems that as long as you 're not cooking in a head on wind it would do well. Cooled down quickly, and packed away neatly. Thank you Coleman for offering American made products that are well built.

[ I received this item for free from influenster in return for an honest review! As someone who enjoys camping and hiking in nature, having a camping stove is so so convenient! We have an older version of this Coleman one, that works well, but is very old and rusty now. So getting this new Coleman cascade 222 was such a treat! I love the design of it because it is so easy to carry with the handle, and it closes securely with a latch. So it is also easy to store as it won ’ t take up much space! It comes with two burners that fit a 12 and 10 inch pans! It also has wind covers which comes in handy a lot! I really like this stove and it is also so easy to clean! Just wipe it down and you ’ re done. If you ’ ve been thinking about getting a camping stove, I would definitely suggest this one!

[ The Cascade is a lightweight but incredibly sturdy camping stove. With it's easy to use propane attachment and igniter you wo n't have to worry about putting a lighter to the burner again or finicky flames that go out fast due to the side wind guards. One thing you should definitely invest in as I will to is the sold separately griddle and grill plate attachment to make cooking at the campsite even easier as they also store in the Coleman carry bag which is also sold separately.

This grill was gifted to my mom many years ago. We use this as her grill for the house. It ’s easy to roll out of the way and store in garage. This grill has fed many family gatherings of over 20 people. The grill is so well used that the handles are now melted off and one of the grill plates are cracked and broken off. My mom continues to use it. For Christmas I decided to buy her a new one. She was elated! She has been looking in stores for a new one for awhile now. Best Christmas gift she received!

The grill is just the right size when cooking for two. I like the two burners. What ’s different is the need for water to use the grill. I didn ’ t experience any flare ups while cooking, however getting rid of the water is a pain when you ’ re at a campground since it has grease in it.

[ This is an excellent grill for camping. It is small enough to be portable but large enough for cooking a lot of food at once. It heats up fast and the heat is easy to control. There are two separate burners. The inside grate is in two pieces and we got the pan accessory so we can be grilling on one side and heating stuff in a pan on the other side. The drip pan is great. You just put water in it and any grease drips right in the water making it so easy to clean up. The regulator is easy to attach and simple so it would be really hard to strip it accidentally. Overall, the best grill we have had and we 've been camping for a long time.

It ’s been a while that I have been using this Coleman stove. The stove is compact, efficient, and reliable cooking solution for camping and hiking. It can be easily portable. kayc64_4212
Used mine this morning because we had a power outage and was reflecting on how great a stove this has been. We bought ours in 2018 for an extended power outage after a hurricane. We ’ ve since used it for lots of camping trips. It still looks nearly brand new after years of use. It cooks well, is easy and simple to use, and makes the most out of a can of butane. The storage case has also held up really well. I think this is super handy to have even if you ’ re not camping. Great for when the powers out, for a picnic, or even travel. 100% recommend!!!

Long honest review here and I want to start this review off with this is my very first full sized griddle. I have always just used the Camp Chef Sidekick Griddle on the Woodwind Smoker. Before buying I put in my time researching and looking at reviews and I am so happy I went with The Gridiron 36. This thing is sturdy, easy to use, and just looks badass. I am about 2 months in and keep saying I ’ m glad I stuck with Camp Chef equipment. First it arrived in perfect condition and was easy to put together. Everything about it is fantastic. The lid is awesome and love how it ’s connected for easy on and off. The four burners and ignition is great and have not had a single issue. Extremely quiet when I turn it on. The shelves on the side are useful for everyday cooking and yes the one above the propane tank doesn ’ t fold down but that ’s okay I don ’ t fold them down to begin with even with the cover. Grease management is a breeze and love that it ’s in the front and easy access from underneath. I have the cover and griddle mat which I strongly suggest. IF you want some kind of critique or one thing I wish was different. I wish the line for the propane was not directly up front and in the rear, kind of hidden, but that ’s purely cosmetic and does not affect a thing. I ’ m over it already. My buddies have a popular competitor griddle and it just looks small and not as well built as the Gridiron 36. Next up is buying some of the magnetic attachments. After every cook I think I verbally say to my wife I ’ m glad I chose Camp Chef again!

The griddle works great. I purchased it after seeing the review on The Flat Top King. I like the fact that when you turn it on low, the temperature stays low as opposed to other brands that just keep getting hotter the longer it goes. Very even heating all across the surface. Assembly was pretty straightforward and I had no problems.
5
leipsic
[ Very easy assembly, best I have assembled. All the screws and bolts are in individual numbered bags. Took around an hour to assemble and very happy. This is a beast as the griddle is very heavy. Best starter around and heats up quick. Very happy.

If you ’ re on the fence about which flat top griddle to buy, stop now, select the 36 ” Camp Chef! It is by far superior to the rest. The price is competitive to others; however, MUCH better quality! The steel used on the unit is just right( Goldilocks of build quality). It is awesome to cook on and soooo easy to clean up. Heats up quickly, cools down nicely, and is perfect size! I could not be happier with my decision to buy this unit. I will be purchasing another for a family member as I know he could not find a better made unit. NOTE: be sure to have plenty of space to spread out when assembling this unit. It comes in two boxes and you will be using parts from both boxes during the build. BOXES are heavy, be careful. One persons can assemble 90% of the unit, but do have help to place on the griddle and lid, it will save many colorful language! NOTE NOTE: in the instructions the nuts& bolt bag numbers follow numbers in the step by step guide. Now the instructions may have notated this; however, I am a male that reads the instructions at the end!

[ Just bought this immediately before we used it for a couple night car camping. Does just what it was designed to, held a heavy, full, cast iron pot over an open flame just fine. Was sturdy as long as it had a relatively even surface to be set on. We balanced it on some rocks( that later we turned into a coal oven) to get it up higher. Folded up nicely to fit perfectly in a bin with other cooking stuff. Would 've given 5 stars if it was just an eensy bit wider, but still worked great.

I purchase this last month over other brands for it versatility as well as the smoke box feature which allows me to cold smoke or add more smoke flavor during my cook. Instructions for assembly were simple and straight forward. I appreciated the hardware bags were labeled by step corresponding to the assembly directions. Simple two man assembly can be don in 90 minutes. I added the side kick pizza oven and sear box which work incredibly well. The pizza oven will get as hot as you need to make a crispy personal pizza. I 'm doing my first smoke now( Brisket)

Great packaging job however the sides of the grill suffered small dents on each side. These dents will not affect performance of grill. The hopper was also dented enough that the grate would not fit. I took a soft blow hammer and banged out the dent. My biggest gripe was it is not depicted or stated how and where to store excess wire for the temperature probe? Assembly was easy, I like how the bags of hardware were labeled by step. This helped make assembly a breeze. Definitely a two man job and the only tool need was a Phillips screwdriver.

I bought two of these stash. Cook sets one for myself and one for my sister. My sister had experienced a really bad storm in DFW without power so I sent her one of these so she could make lentils and rice. It came in clutch! The second use case I have for it is… I feed my dog, the honest kitchen brand food, which is basically freeze dried human grade, but in powder form. You basically mix it up with hot water and make a nice thick porridge. I keep one in my truck so that I could quickly heat up or barely warm up the water to make a hot meal for my coco pup basically anywhere we are! Plug: i also own the 3 other JetBoils. The Genesis full system, micro mo and mini mo. Took the mini mo to Banff and made the Food- for- sole brand meals. It was amazing to have it take care of 6 people using it taking turns. We had our food and a gallon of water. Spent the entire day at lake lousie and kept everyone nourished. They all have a place in our camp setup.

[ This portable fold- up X- Grill by Oniva is great for grilling burgers, sausages, and simple cuts of meat. It folds up really nicely and comes with a handy over- the- shoulder carrying bag. The bag and compact design makes it very easy to take with you if you want to grill things at a tailgate, at the beach, or at a park, for example. The grill itself gets the job done well enough but leaves a few things to be desired. The grates are n't perfectly lined up with the side that holds it in place and it is a little bit wobbly since the grate is also made of three pieces attached together. The charcoal sits very close to the cooking grates so food items cook very quickly and can burn more easily, resulting in things like burgers and hotdogs working out well but not so much for more complicated food items like chicken. Ideally a cover or lid would be a great additional feature to help control airflow and to control how hot the grill gets. All in all, this X- Grill is still a very handy thing to have on hand since it can easily be stored away when not in use. I also wish the bag that it came with had a zipper or a velcro closure because as it is now, it's just a non- secure flap that tucks into the bag, allowing for the grill to slide out if it falls over.

We bought this stove to heat our tent when elk hunting in the mountains. This past season we were in the mountains of Montana and had some nights in the 20s and a few days with highs in the 30s. This Alpine stove kept our 13ft X 20ft wall tent cozy warm. We normally are camped for a 2 week stretch and installed an in- line spark arrestor as shown in the photos, for ease of cleaning. We also protected the floor under the stove with a welding blanket. The racks on the side of the stove were very handy for quick drying of socks and gloves. Another thing I really like is that everything fits inside the stove when packing. That sure saves valuable space. I highly recommend the Camp Chef Alpine!

Bought this a couple months ago from an online vendor due to CC being out of stock. Assembly was straight forward and all the components pack back up into the stove for storage. Large enough to put full 16 '' long split log pieces into and when I had it 1/2 full, it blew me out of the tent. I had to damper it down. I believe I made the right purchase. The chimney pipes are tapered to fit inside each other, the smallest end at the stove is 5- 1/4 '', largest end is 6- 1/4 '' Outer diameter. There's plenty of pipe to extend above the tent. The spark arrestor screen gets clogged up a little, but if you stay on top of it you 're fine. I would recommend this stove hands down!

Have had this for about 5 weeks, and cooked steaks, burgers, hash browns, eggs,& vegies. The cooking heat range is exceptional compared to my old grill. I bought a laser heat gauge to fine tune the exact heat I want, and it works great. The control knobs maintain the exact heat I want. Clean- up is the best part of this griddle. Start to finish less than 10 minutes, including re- oil for next use. The steaks maintain the juice inside, unlike my old grill, where the juice fell through the grills. I wonder if some of the long- term complaints are due to failure to maintain the griddle with oil and after use maintenance. My only complaint is I waited to long to switch from grill to griddle

90% accurate. A few discrepancies here and there, but nothing you can ’ t figure out with a little ingenuity

Very excellent pellet grill! Super easy to use with mostly reliable app functionality! Its highlight feature is the integrated smoke box, which allows you to add real hardwood chunks or charcoal briquettes to enhance the flavors of smoked meats more reliably than is normally expected from a pellet smoker. It features a generously sized hopper which can easily fit a 20LB bag of pellets, and the PID allows the smoker to reliably maintain the temperature as well as control the output of smoke through an adjustable ten- step Smoke Level. It can get hot enough to use like a traditional grill while also low enough for cold smoking items like cheese. The vents on the back can also be adjusted to control the amount of smoke as well. The racks provide plenty of flexibility as well, the option to use split racks provide the versatility to grill as much as needed to minimize cleanup. Speaking of, cleaning is a breeze since you just need to dump the burnt pellet ash using the pull- out dumper and the removable pellet cup on the bottom. Cleaning out the smoke box is also as easy as removing and dumping the ash out, same with the included grease bucket. Overall, very reliable with pretty exceptional build quality. The stainless steel is gorgeous and develops a nice patina. The app controller is reliable and can track up to four meats with very mild temperature differences. Super happy with the grill.
