We are converting one room in our home to a home gym. This rowing machine is equal to any commercial machine I have used in a gym. Smooth and easy to use. Set up is a little challenging. The biggest problem is getting the pin in( correctly) that holds the two main pieces together. Even in the video the guy does n't have it right the first time, but it is corrected later in the video. Be patient this part is a pain. After it is together you will have a great machine and be very glad you bought it. I am so impressed with Stamina products that I bought a recumbent bike, that just came in today. I am looking forward to getting it together and giving it a try.

I bought this rower during the pandemic and it's been my go- to ever since. I never had any issues, even when I transported it from state to state when I moved. I only wish there were classes to take that can record my progress. It does have programs already but not what I was looking for but I still love this machine! [ I spent a solid researching rowers( from online reviews to customer opinions to pros/cons of water vs chain vs magnetic resistance). While a Concept 2 was desirable, the price was not! Finally, it was a informational video on Instagram by `` trainingtall '' that convinced me to go with chain/fan resistance rower. Sure, water rowers are quieter and have that soothing sound of rushing water, but you have to worry about( a) adding/removing water to change resistance,( b) make sure you use water conditioner to prevent mold and( c) the risk of eventual leaks. With a fan- based chain rower( as opposed to magnetic), there's no need for a variable settings because the level resistance is determined by how hard you pull. Sure, it's definitely louder but the wind generated by the fan is a welcome benefit for someone like me who tends to sweat more than most during exercise. The unit was very easy to assemble by myself and came with all of the parts and tools I needed. After a few minor seat adjustments to eliminate a slight wobble, I was ready to go in under 45 minutes. I like that the moveable, flexing foot rests have nylon pull straps rather than Velcro( which tends to wear out after extended use). The seat is comfortable and glides smoothly( back- and- forth) along the rail. I purchased an 8' exercise mat to go underneath after watching a YouTube workout video of the Stamina X on a bare floor and seeing how much it moved. With the mat, the rower stays put! I will agree with most of the reviews I 've read- the LCD monitor is pretty basic and rudimentary. It's also at an angle that makes the screen very hard to read( even in bright light). I use it strictly for watching my stroke count and strokes per minute- which it does well. To monitor my heart rate and to get a more accurate assessment of calories burned, I wear a Polar H10 strap connected to an old phone( Velcro 'd to the front of the rail( just below the LCD display). I 've been using the rower for 3 weeks now and I 've been very pleased. It's feels very solid and stable with no wobble whatsoever. I kind of wish the pull bar was a bit wider, but that's just me nitpicking!

BIG fan of this rower. It folds up nicely if you do n't have much space for it, but it is also fairly small and condensed so you can fit it anywhere while it's unfolded. Super smooth pulls, great digital screen, easy setup. I highly recommend, especially for winter months when you ca n't leave the house, or with kids!

The rowing machine arrived with a gash in the package and the metal shroud around the Magnet was bent. During assembly I was able to bend the shroud back into shape, thus removing the risk of injury during the use of the machine. Once assembled the machine worked smoothly. In regards to the damage during transport I had very prompt and competent interactions with both the seller and the manufacturer. Obviously, the damage was caused by neither of them, I got it fixed quickly and I enjoy the machine. I was happy with both the purchase process and the quality of the product.

I prefer water rowers to any type of rower. You can fill it as much as you like for a strong or light resistance. I keep mine on the lower end so I can row for 15 minutes. Easy to move you lift up the front and you can push it anywhere with the wheels on the back. I pull it out into the sun and other days I keep it in the garage.

I 've only been using this for four weeks. The product is sturdy and well constructed. The nylon strap looks and feels like it will provide lasting use. The handle is easy to grip and comfortable in the hands. The seat is comfortable and I 've had no issues with it. I 'm starting out with 30 minute sessions on low level to work on my technique and form and very much like the steady resistance. For older first time users on a rowing machine( I 'm 66), if you have n't already been exercising regularly this will give you a good initial workout at level 1. If you 're like myself and do regularly exercise but have n't used a rowing machine, once you feel comfortable with proper technique and form you 'll be ready to push upwards and this machine has very good resistance settings and built- in programs that will challenge you. This is a fantastic rower. I was a little concerned it would be of poor quality due to the price compared to the others, but if you aren ’ t a peloton groupie and don ’ t need false encouragement tossed at you every five seconds, save some money and get this one. The water resistance is perfect, and once I get stronger the magnetic resistance is going to build on that.( If you do need some false encouragement, there ’s always Apple fitness+) It hooked seamlessly to my phone and the app works perfectly. I had the air version and upgraded to this one with air and magnetic resistance. It ’s an upgrade for sure with resistance. Less productive at the 30 minute mark. Only concern with this product is longevity as the volute spring went on the prior model. But I stayed with Sunny as the overall product is good and it lasted long enough to where I don ’ t feel it was a financial loss. I used it often. I just purchased this machine. Let me tell you it is sturdy. The only issue I have noticed is the pedal spacing is farther apart than what I was used to on my very simple and little hydraulic machine by SunnyHealth. But the drive is smooth, the ride is more comfortable because of the fan. and the padded seat. I use this with HOLODIA app on Quest 2 and really enjoy rowing. The main piece is pre- asasembled. You add the pedals, the seat, the slidebar and the rear stabilizer. Very pleased with the sale price and the additional 10% off. Brought the machine cost down to 495. And it is well packaged and protected. It had rained for 3 days and the box was a mess. But nothing touched the machine inside. This rowing machine is wonderful! I did not want to give a full star down- rating for only a minor issue, so will leave my rating at 5 stars. The only issue had to do w/the LCD display attachment. There was a one of 4 screws that did not fit properly in the mounting hardware and my display ended up in a crooked position. However, like I said it's only a minor thing and does not at all impact the functionality of the machine. I 'm so glad that I purchased this rower!!!

I would highly recommend this rower! It was packaged so nicely and compact that there was no extra freight charge. It was very easy to assemble. One trim piece didn ’ t fit exactly right, so I had to trim it slightly, but was fine. Didn ’ t know if I would like the rowing arms on this machine, but I absolutely love them. I fell in love with rowing the first time I tried it( in a fitness studio)! The only issue was I did n't get to choose how much rowing I 'd be able to do each session and I always wanted more. After a few years of this, I finally decided to buy my own rower. And I love the NordicTrack RW900 Rower! It is very smooth, has lots of workout programs, and a super big monitor. You can choose from so many workouts( in beautiful settings), do your own workout, or set up a program on your own with iFit too. The huge monitor is super nice, making it more fun to do the workout programs( on gorgeous lakes in different places around the world). Or you can watch a movie on the monitor while rowing! There are a couple of things that bother me a little bit though. The seat is a little wobbly and small. And the straps on the foot pads do n't go tight enough if I 'm not wearing the right shoes( ones that have a wide base). But I think the seat is just different than what I 'm used to and I just need to get used to it. I 'm totally fine once I get moving. I do really love having my own rower in my home gym, and there really is n't a better option out there! So I 'm going to continue to row, row, row my boat on this fun piece of equipment! It is just such a good total body workout!

My shoes keep pocking out of the heel clips and I have to stop and re- strap them back in. It's very annoying. All the perks of rowing a boat, without the water! Especially with iFIT, you literally feel like you are rowing a boat, all without having to leave your house. I can row in Europe by just walking into my gym, how cool is that? And even then, this rower is 10x nicer than any boat I would be rowing. All jokes aside, I have been really impressed on how smooth the pull rope and seat are on this machine. I have always been a little scared with rowers that the rope might snap but this one really does feel sturdy and that it won ’ t send me off the back. It was easy and quick to assemble which was really nice because sometimes you never know what you might get with putting together a new machine. The screen is a great size and the speakers are awesome too. I like how comfortable the seat is. Our previous rower had a very hard seat that was not enjoyable to sit on and this one is much better. Overall, I ’ m really impressed with the quality of the unit. My only complaint is that I wish it had a lock on the seat so it couldn ’ t move when not in use to protect little fingers. This is an incentivized review and I have a family member that works for the brand but these are my honest thoughts.

We assembled it quickly and easily( we are NOT handy people) and it works very well. I 'm a beginner so I ca n't comment on the display- I 'm just trying to burn calories, not race. I like the fact that it's higher than other water rowers because I have lower back issues, so the fact that it's a bit higher, and also that the back/seat is higher than the feet seems to alleviate stress on my lower back. The only `` surprise '' was that it is a bit noisier than other water rowers BUT I think that's because of the tilt of the tank. That said, I think the tilt makes for a better workout because it seems like you 're pulling the propellers through more water( pooled at the bottom of the tank) than you would be with the same amount of water in a flat tank. Frankly, when I tested the flat/level tank it felt `` too easy '' for me. Yes, I know it's about how fast I pull, but I like the additional resistance. It's not so much that it's noisy as that I ca n't watch/listen to anything unless I make it loud. My husband said you barely hear it in the rest of the house. I just wear earbuds so I can listen. One other thing to note: even though you can put an iPad on the lip of the display, you have to be sure to tilt it backwards a bit so the display does n't flop forward from the weight. Last, but not least, you ca n't beat the price( and nominal delivery charge) and availability. It arrived within a few days of ordering it. Great purchase!

We purchased this after doing a fair amount of research on rowing machines and we are glad we did. We get a good aerobic workout along with a balanced upper and lower toning. As Seniors we started slowly and gradually increased the intensity and length of time on the machine. This rower is well made, compact, and fun to use. No regrets here!

I 've had my rower now for several months and initially had issues with the meter not connecting to the app. I had replaced another rowing machine in favor of this one to specifically connect to the app. Sunny Fitness sent a replacement meter and everything has been working great ever since. The machine is small enough to fit in our small area home gym and is easy to put up out of the way and take back down and move to where I need to for use. I got into rowing at my local gym on this same exact rower and loved it. I deceided to buy one for the house( one of my greatest decisions) and tried Concepts and various hydro rowers. They did n't come close as far as comfort and also they did n't have a high enough resistance which I enjoy. I am not very good at setting things up from a manual, I 'm a video person, but I assembled this myself easily in 2 hours, very clever step by step instructions with the tools included. Nothing was very difficult. Then I had my phone connected to the screen, blasting old hip hop videos off YouTube and custom programmed my favorite rowing settings in barely 5 minutes. I have rowed every morning before work( highly recommended, hey you have one in the house now) and I am in ninja shape. Shout out to the Cyber Mondsy sale I saved a ton which made me finally buy one. Very impressed!
