The last reviewer is right that this replacement grip adds more weight because of the gel. But I was happy because I needed to increase my grip size without having to use a shrink wrap. This solved my problem as it made my racquet 8 grams heavier which is n't too much for me. As I 'm used to a racquet weight of 340 to 345 grams

This grip was applied to my 15 yr old's tennis racket, and now he can finally compete with me! I was a little embarrassed about his game at first; he should be able to beat his aging dad, but with this new grip, he's like a furious Agassi, before going bald.( Not that this is some Samson story. He is still an incredible bald athlete, but the golden lion locks of the 90s were quite iconic... Steffi knows what I mean.) Back to the grip: It's tight. It's good. You should get some.
5
Heyitsmerod01
I just needed some extra grip on my racket, and this was the quick fix I needed. It applied easily and I was able to get back to playing.

Went to this page to buy one of these grips, because I love them, but reading all these 5 star reviews inspired me to add to the praise. I have 4 `` active '' rackets- every one has this grip. As others stated- it's long lasting, cushiony, and the rib along the edge gives a great `` finger grip '' sort of feel to the handle. I 'm a lefty so the ridge may be backwards for me- not sure, but not an issue. Under$ 10 is a bargain for this grip! Glad they 're still available( sometimes it seems like every product I find indispensable is quickly discontinued by some marketing genius)!

A tacky overgrip is designed to provide a superior grip on sports equipment, such as racquets or clubs, enhancing control and comfort during play. The tacky texture helps prevent slipping, allowing for better handling and precision in movements. This type of grip is particularly beneficial in high-intensity situations where sweat can reduce grip effectiveness.
Tacky overgrips are typically made from a variety of materials, including rubber, polyurethane, and synthetic fibers. These materials are chosen for their ability to provide a soft feel while maintaining durability and grip. The combination of these materials ensures that the overgrip can withstand wear and tear while offering the necessary tackiness for optimal performance.
Yes, tacky overgrips are designed to perform well in various weather conditions, including humid and wet environments. Their enhanced grip properties help maintain control even when moisture is present. However, the longevity and effectiveness of the grip can vary based on the specific material and design, so it's important to consider the conditions in which you will be playing.
Choosing the right thickness for a tacky overgrip depends on personal preference and the feel you desire during play. Thicker grips can provide more cushioning and comfort, while thinner grips may offer more sensitivity and control. It's often helpful to try different thicknesses to determine which one feels best for your playing style.
Yes, tacky overgrips are versatile and can be used across various sports, including tennis, golf, and racquetball. Their design caters to the needs of athletes by providing a secure grip that enhances performance. When selecting an overgrip, consider the specific requirements of your sport and how the grip will complement your equipment.
