This cooler really has everything I was looking for in a performance cooler. The insulation is great. It has secure closing tabs. It has a drain plug. It has a bottle opener. It is a little on the heavy side but all of the good in this cooler can not happen without some weight. Having said that, this cooler is much lighter than many of its competitors. Some folks dig on coolers not keeping cool as long as advertised. It is important to realize that if you put ice/drinks/food in a warm cooler you are bound to have some initial melting just to bring the temperature down. Add some ice prior to using the cooler and it will last really well. No question it's a great deal for what you get.

The trail mate cooler is the perfect size for the backseat of your car. Having the ability to keep ice upwards of 4- 6 days is a great feature when traveling. The drain plug, which many coolers don ’ t have anymore in this size, allows you to urge water and add needed ice. For two people traveling we find it the perfect size for our needs. Also the weight of the cooler was a big factor in this purchase

I have a similar cooler from Igloo. I bought this one as a raffle prize for our golf tournament. Very well made and I like the handle and like the rubber lock down latches. The comparable size Yeti keeps your stuff cold for$ 250. This cooler keeps your stuff cold for$ 100. You decide if its worth it.

I like the Trailmate 25. It is big but not bulky or too heavy like some coolers in this size range. It has a metal handle with a nice rubberized grip on it. While similar to other models Igloo offers, this cooler has a seal in the lid, improved rubber latches, drain plug, and heavy duty hinges on the back. It is made in USA which I appreciate and is very solid. Not sure how many total days it can retain ice, since I only use for weekend use. I hope this lasts me many years. Overall I would recommend this cooler. Minor issues that could be improved: 1. I would like the handle to `` lock '' in the upright position to reduce the cooler from swaying side to side while carrying it. 2. The notches where the rubber latches secure are hollow underneath. This allows the latches to scrape/scuff the plastic edges which could possibly wear down overtime. 3. The drain plug could be a tad lower in the cooler so it does n't have to be tipped to drain the last remaining water. 4. I added no- skid furniture pads to the bottom to reduce scratches and scuffs and increase grip for transportation.

I was provided this cooler for free in exchange for my honest review. This is a great cooler. I have always wanted one of the Yeti or Rtic coolers but never wanted to pay the price for a cooler of that quality. This cooler made by Dick ’s Sporting Goods( DSG) is just as good as either of those brands. Upon receiving the cooler, I was very impressed with the quality of the cooler, all of the different parts feel well made and durable which is important when you take your cooler on all of your adventures. I like the rope handles on each side. I find those far more comfortable than coolers I have had in the past with plastic handles molded into the plastic. The rope feels very durable. The dual latches that keep the lid firmly shut are also very easy to open which is important since you need to keep the lid firmly closed to keep the ice frozen for the full 7 days the cooler claims to make. I started off filling up this cooler with ice and some drinks for a fun day at the park, then it started raining while the temperature dropped close to freezing. So instead, I had to leave the cooler inside and decided to see how long the ice would last in a 73 degree room. The photos show the ice over a few days. It is currently day 5 and the cooler has at half of the ice we started with. I have yet to find any flaws with this cooler. If I ever do, I ’ ll update this review with my findings.

The DSG Victory 48 Quart Performance Cooler is definitely a must have for any family, whether you 're sitting at the field for your sports event, tailgating or just want a Cooler for the car. This cooler offers space and keeps your items cool even without ice. We 've used this for husband's landscaping company in his truck, tailgating at major sports events and at the soccer field for practice. I ca n't wait to use it for hiking and kayaking. Highlights: Large capacity for drinks and food. Easy to carry with molded in handles as well as rope handles. Built in bottle opener with padlock capabilities. Fits perfectly in the 3rd row vehicle** Paid Endorser and received free product**

I am writing an unbiased review of the 48qt DSG Victory Cooler in red color. I am a paid endorser and recieved free product. First thoughts on the cooler is it shipped in a nice DSG( Dicks Sporting Goods) box. The box arrived without any damages noticed. The red color is not a flashy red, but nothing stands out of the color. Upon first eye inspection the cooler has a nice modern look to it. Material feels sturdy including the attached bottle opener and rope style handles.. The clamp and latch style lid closure is a nice feature. Drain is an easy to access and use screw style cap. MADE IN USA. Upon inspection, I noticed one small thing that may or may not be a concern to some people. I noticed when closed and pressed on the lid a bit, I could hear air escaping from the cooler. This means that there is a small void that air can get in and out of maybe releasing some of the trapped temperature. I believe this is due to a small gap in the rubber seal along the back of the lid. This may or may not affect the overall performace of the cooler. Overall this cooler and its durability seem to be a great purchase for someone looking for a cooler that performs the same or better as much more expensive coolers. I put a bit of ice, ice packs, and cokes into the cooler to leave in my uninsulated garage due to a nice long week of higher temperatures than usual. I also threw in the back of my truck to drive around to vary temps some more. This gives testing some colder nights, and warmer days. The cooler held the ice and still has ice in it from 5 days ago. My drinks stayed cold, and each trip to the cooler had frigid temps inside when I would open to check or get a drink. Solid cooler and look forward to using it much more!

Received this cooler just in time for a big cool down. High temperaturefor a few days was- 20 F. We brought the cooler to a hockey tournament and brought it inside the lovker room. Players beat on it, stood on it, and it kept drinks cold. Paid

This review is for the DSG Victory 48 qt Performance Cooler. The cooler is an all around good cooler. It's well built, and is made in the USA! It has a built in bottle opener. Large carry handles. A large drain. The latches for the lid are sturdy. As shown in my pictures it will hold twenty- eight 16oz bottles. It was able to hold a 5 gallon bucket of ice on the bottles. This is my main use of a cooler. I keep a cooler with drinks in my truck year round. The ice retention was good and drinks stay cold for days, even with continued opening of the cooler. The cooler does n't have a wire basket. This cooler should last for years to come. I am a paid endorser and have received free product.

Went camping and the weather was 90- 100 all weekend and needed a bigger cooler. Ice and food kept cold for the full three days. No issues with the handles or anything as others reported but not one to lug it around using those anyway. Good product for the money.

I bought this cooler on a Friday morning since I was going camping in 90 degree weather and needed something that would keep my food cold for a few days. On Friday at 11: 00am I put 6( 7lb) bags of ice in it and loaded it up with tons of food I had prepped to feed 7 people. I got to the campsite at 3pm and the temperature was 92 degrees. I put it in the shade. Saturday it was 98 degrees. I got home Sunday( 92 degrees) evening and took all the food out and drained some of the water out and put it back in my car. I left ice in it because I wanted to see how long it would last. It has been in my car for 24 hours and there is still a good amount of ice chunks in it( see photo). I am impressed. I was worried as some of the reviews mentioned cheap handles but I feel like it is pretty sturdy and didn ’ t have any issues.

Our old cooler broke.... we decided on this on because of the wheels. Its has a lot of space inside and it kept ice in it for 4 days, and 2 of those days we were outside at a softball tournament!!

I had intended to buy an upgraded version of this, but the price was more than I was willing to pay. Found this- ca n't believe how good it has been. Holds ice nearly as well as a roto- molded cooler, with 10 times the capacity for the price.

Purchased maybe 3 mths ago. Came with a few scuffs but got it on sale and with a coupon. With all the scuffs on front area, I was reimbursed for the bad scuffs. With all the savings, I decided to make this thing 100% better. Here's my upgrades: 1 installed lid gasket 2 stainless top hinges 3 stainless tie downs 4 installed stainless handle on back 5 stainless lockable toggle clamps 6 cargo nets on sides 7 stainless caribeaners 8 pneumatic tires 9 reinforced wheel bracket 10 threaded axle 11 larger food tray 12 Drilled thru top/side w/stainless screws for cable 13 blutooth spkr in frt compartment 14 adjustable bungees All in all I would say these upgrades were around the same price as the money I saved with discount/coupon/partial refund. 100% better

I bought this last month for Travel Baseball. It is a 100% upgrade from the large Yeti cooler we used last year. It is much easier for my wife to handle from car to field on her own. With the added outside storage and bins for the inside we have much more flexibility. It ’s pull out handle and sturdy wheels makes it so we can stack chairs, gear and our 5yr old in one trip. I would highly recommend.

This 65- quart hard cooler is a beast, and I put it through a real test. Performance& Features Capacity& Size – 5/5 Fits 64 cans+ ice with ease. Perfect for camping, tailgates, and large gatherings. Portability& Wheels – 4/5 Wheels& Flip Handle: Solid, smooth on rough terrain. Side Handles: Too narrow — felt like crimping a V6 boulder route when lifting fully loaded. Ice Retention& Insulation – 5/5 Held ice for 72 hours with regular use — thick walls do their job well. Durability& Build – 5/5 Survived drops, rocks, and even a skatepark session. Bonus: doubles as a sturdy bench. Features& Convenience – 4. 5/5 Latches: Some of the best I ’ ve used — secure and easy. Drain Plug: Water spills onto handle grips, which pick up dirt/grass. Overall: 4. 7/5 Final Verdict: This cooler is an absolute unit. If you need big capacity, solid build, and long ice retention, this is the one to get. Highly recommend!

I really like this 65qt cooler, the wheels make it so much easier to move it around and the colors choices are fun. I got the blue cooler and love the color! It seems like it is very durable, very insulated with thick walls and lid. There is a rubber seal on the lid that seals the cooler more efficiently. I love how the cooler has a locking option, to keep the kids out of it or when traveling to secure it. We had a fire over the weekend, filled the cooler with ice and drinks. It was also used as a chair by a fire. It did not get hot and the drinks were still cold. We left the remaining drinks and ice to see how long it would take to melt. I was surprised that they were still cold and had some of the ice melted days, several later, it has been 5 days and we still have ice. I placed my hand in the cooler, and you could feel that it was still very very cold. I am very impressed with how long it stays cold in the cooler. When you shut the lid, there is room so you are not squishing drinks or food with the lid down. My dog loves it too, she loves ice!! I am very excited to use it on camp trips this summer. It will also be used as a table and chair. It is the right height to play games on or use as a table while cooking outdoors. I love to Dutch oven and this height is perfect! I love how the cooler has wheels, the built- in bottle opener, and high quality insulation of the cooler. Love that it is made in the USA!! The only issue with the cooler is, lacking an additional handle to pick up the cooler, the lifting handle above the wheels could have been designed for easier gripping. There is a slight indent for a handle, but a gripping one would be better. Overall I love this cooler! I am a paid endorser and have received free product. Yes, I recommend this product.

This a review of the new Victory 65 Quart Hard Cooler w/Wheels by Dick ’s Sporting Goods. As a disclaimer, I was provided with an advance copy of this product to provide a review of it. My initial thoughts on receiving the cooler was that it was lighter than I had anticipated compared with some rotomolded coolers I have owned. It feels sturdy in its construction, with a nice metal integrated pull handle, good sized wheels to handle off- pavement locations, and nice rubberized sealing latches on the front corners. It also has a nice metal plate on the front of the cooler to allow for a padlock to be The top of the cooler has some texture to it, which gives a moderate amount of reduced slip surface. I would not leave anything on top of the cooler when attempting to wheel it around though. It looks and feels very well made, but the real test of course is how effective it is in keeping things cold. I decided to put it to a test. I first set up the Victory cooler on our pool deck in a location that gets a good amount of direct sunlight. This test was done in February, but I am in Florida, and we had highs in the low 80 degree range. I would place 32 lbs of ice in the cooler and see how the ice lasted over 5 consecutive days: Day 1: 32 lbs of ice added to the cooler( Willa the Corgi not included with the cooler): Day 3: Still a lot of ice present: Day 5: The cooler still has a sizable chunk of ice. The 2nd picture shows the ice remaining after the water is drained off: The attached video shows the results for each day of the test. I picked 5 days as a test after having to run on generator power for that long after Hurricane Milton, and the Victory 65 Quart cooler passed with flying colors. When I ended the test and drained the cooler, the plug was very well constructed, and was easy to unscrew. It has enough texture and size that it should be easy to open even if you have hands slick with perspiration, sunscreen, etc. There is an indentation inside near the drain to help water flow out, but I still needed to lift the other side of the cooler for it to drain completely. I found the Dick ’s Sporting Goods Victory 65 Quart Hard Cooler with Wheels to be an excellent product. It is lighter than other coolers with comparable ice retention, although this is still a large cooler that will weigh quite a bit if full of ice, beverages, and food. The wheels, handle, and drain plug are all well constructed and feel like they will be durable through a lot of use. If you are looking for a larger capacity cooler, I can highly recommend that you consider this model.

Disclosure: I received the DSG Victory 65 Quart Hard Cooler free of charge in exchange for my open and honest product review. The made in the USA DSG Victory 65 Quart Hard Cooler exceeded my expectations. This cooler is built to impress, offering both functionality and durability for outdoor adventures. Here ’s my breakdown of the features: Capacity& Ice Retention: With a 65- quart capacity, this cooler is perfect for larger gatherings, camping trips, or tailgates. It can hold up to 75 cans or 67 pounds of ice, which makes it ideal for extended outings. The real standout is its 8 days of ice retention. That ’s a game- changer for those who enjoy extended outdoor activities without having to worry about constantly replenishing ice. Durability& Design: The thick foam insulated walls make this cooler incredibly durable, and it feels built to last. Whether it ’s handling bumps and drops or enduring the weight of heavy ice and drinks, the Victory cooler stands strong. The dual rugged wheels are another great feature, making it easy to move even when fully packed with ice and beverages. It rolls smoothly over gravel, grass, and pavement without a hassle. Seal& Drainage: The gasket seal lid ensures a tight fit, locking in cold air and keeping your contents chilled longer. I ’ ve had issues with other coolers in the past losing their coolness due to poor seals, but this one keeps everything crisp and fresh. The large threaded drain plug is also a thoughtful addition – no more struggling to tilt a heavy cooler to drain the water. The plug makes it easy to let out the melted ice without making a mess. Handle& Portability: The large heavy duty metal handle with rubber grips makes moving the cooler much more comfortable, even when it ’s full. I love how secure the grip feels in my hands, and it gives me confidence when transporting it over rough terrain. The handle is strong enough to withstand the weight, and the rubber grips add extra comfort during longer hauls. Final Thoughts: The DSG Victory 65 Quart Hard Cooler is a solid investment for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors. With its impressive ice retention, rugged design, and convenient features, it ’s built to handle whatever you throw at it. Whether you ’ re a weekend camper, a tailgater, or a fishing enthusiast, this cooler has all the right features to keep your food and drinks cold for extended periods. Highly recommended!
