We go to amusement parks, long rucks, hikes, family walks etc, and we use this each time. There is so much storage, we packed snacks, diapers, wipes, bottles of water, our wallets, phones, and still had some room. My daughter has used this for the last two years, and she gets excited to get in it. My husband and I take turns on rides at amusement parks and we easily switch the carrier without issue. This makes for such a wonderful ride for my one month old. Easy to buckle him in and the padding makes it so comfy. You kind of have to buy it if you have an infant, and I was n't thrilled to spend extra money on top of such an expensive stroller. But it is well made and will be useful for several months until I can transition the baby to the regular seat. Its makes the passenger space a little more cramped for my almost 3 yo, but they both fit comfortably even in bulky winter jackets.

Love this bike seat. My son has so much fun going for rides. It's solid and easy to install. Though because I have a mountain bike, I had to modify it a bit to fit, but it was n't hard at all. A few reviews here say it does n't fit, but all you have to do is take the housing off of the front part of the bracket. Once you 've done that, it fits perfectly to any style of bike. It of course does change the normal riding feel and your turning radius is lower, but this is n't supposed to be able to handle what you would normally do on your maintain bike. I 've added a picture of the bracket on the bike for reference. The metal part of the front of the bracket pops right out with a flat head screw driver and you 're good to go.

I bought this seat after much research for my very first grandson. The seat fits his body perfectly. It goes on and off the bike in under 10 seconds. It gives the parents added security of having their arms wrapped around the baby. The harness is childproof, and almost adult proof. My grandson smiled immediately upon being placed in the seat. Having the option of buying a second mounting kit made it easy to switch between my son and daughter- in- law ‘s bike. I don ’ t believe they had these when my son was a baby. Having a baby in front is definitely a perk and a great safety feature. My son and his family loved their Christmas present this year and I did too.

Bought Oct 2023. Used several times. Works fantastic. You keep the child in front of you between your arms. 10 month old of 22lbs and 31 ” loves it. Padding on handhold is not very durable—a teether chewed through quickly. We mounted a toy there for him. It does slightly limit your steering mobility; but that is fine because you aren ’ t making aggressive turns with the child. It is much better for an infant than a rear seat…. he doesn ’ t feel alone and you have full control and visibility. Very fast shipping.

I 've got a large Salsa Timberjack, after measuring the stem was PRAYING that his beautiful little seat would fit my bike, low and behold IT DOES. Let me just check off the other questions/fears I had before purchasing: Will I need to adjust my knees around the seat while pedalling?- I 'm 6' 0 ''( 183cm) tall, NO issues with my knees. Will the stems from HER handlebars conflict with the front fork of my bike?- NO, but juuuuust barely. Will my daughter( 14mo at time time of posting) love this thing?- She absolutely loves it I 'm overjoyed that my bike was able to accommodate the seat. I will say, a bike with a more upright riding position would be ideal for this seat, w/ the Timberjack I do need to sort of hunch my chest to accommodate my daughters helmet, but it's not so uncomfortable that I do n't want to ride, and we 're only out for 30- 60min at a time, doing local paved/crusher fine gravel trails. For any casual ride, I do n't think you can beat this seat.

I purchased two of these seats for my specialized globe haul LT which has an integrated MIK HD rack. The seats fit seamlessly and can be installed/removed within a matter of seconds. The only note which is not a major concern in my area is that I ’ m not sure of a good way to lock these seats to the bike. If you ’ re concerned about theft it may be worth looking into seats that lock because of how easily these seats can be removed. Other than that, I ’ m not aware of how the seats could be any better!

I 've had a chance to take this out for three skis with an infant in the Chariot. Felt great to get out on the trails and have the little one sleeping behind me. Pros: The stability of the Chariot is great, and having them up off the ground helps to keep them warmer that a ground- based pulk. Installation is super simple and you can even wax the skis to maximize glide. Also nice to be able to store a few extra things for you or the child in the pulk's ample cargo spaces. Cons: There's no dampening system between the pulk and the skier, so any bumps/accelerations/decelerations experience by the pulk are translated to the skiers hips. This take a little bit of getting used to, but after a bit, is fine. Despite Thule trying to make the system as light- weight as possible, it's still heavy and will only get more- so as the child grows; this makes the uphills a slog( but downhills are awesome!).
