Used to use Tiny/Baby Torpedos and thought I had the killer lures for bass on my favorite water. Have n't had the success I wanted lately as the propellers did n't always spin. Last summer I watched a video on Youtube of a guy killing smallies with a `` Whopper Plopper '' so I decided to give one a try. I bought the 90 perch and 90 pac- man. First afternoon out with these lures I caught 10 bass. That was my best day ever on this water. Two were 3 lbs plus; all were respectable sizes.( See picture) Just purchased three more: Bluegill, Frog, and 28 Bluegill. Gon na buy the T1000 and Chub( Yoda) next. May go up a size to see if they produce even bigger fish. Ca n't wait till the spawn to kill' em again!!!!

Looks like a copy of an olt time lure my grandfather used. My 5 yr old grandson used the small lure in the packet and caught a bass and two pickerel. Will try the large lure on blue fish next. If you have good technique in using walking baits, then these are a must for your tackle box. I own several colors from black to bone, but the one I purchased from Dick's is the G- Finish Bullfrog. The Super Spook Jr in Florida Bass color is also a good one. My last time out using this bait, a 2. 5lber leaped out of the water for it as I was pulling it out for a recast! How cool is that!?!

Use on heavy rod fast action 7ft- 7'6 with braid minimum 50lbs. I use a frog weighted 5/0 1/8oz screw lock. These things work like no other I 've tried every freaking brand that makes them and zoom out preform all of them. You 'll go through a bunch until you figure out how to make them last but it's worth it with these guys. You can throw this in open water, over pads, pond scum you name it bass will destroy it guaranteed!

i really like this topwater! i needed a substitute for the Heddon Dying Flutter, and this met my expectations. The colors i have had success on are silver shiner( for bass), yellow perch first cast caught a muskie and my favorite color bullfrog has caught muskie, pike& bass. I used it with braid; off of points with structure and around old beaver lodges with great success, and also around weed edges and wild rice. It's a real producer i always buy them when i can because up here in Canada they are hard to come by i have only used the 3/8 because just finding the bait in any weight be it 3/8 or 1/2 is hard to find that you for an awsome lure thank you!

I have used this lure on most of the big lakes in central and south Florida. This is my go to lure and I tell everyone that I come across about it. This lure is easy to cast and the action really gets the fish's attention. I only fish topwater and only use two different lures, I wish this lure was carried everywhere and a little easier to purchase but it is worth the effort to find. My grandfather taught me how to topwater fish is in this lure when I was a kid, thank you smith wick for making a time tested, tried and true quality product!!!
