Bought this for a round road trip from Texas to Florida. Had no issues with using the straps to the door outer frame. Survived high winds and heavy rain for hours through a storm. The person who tore the side trying to zip it probably didn ’ t lubricate the zippers as per instructions. We just returned from a trip that required the use of this bag. It was used on top of a Toyota RAV4 with a rack on the roof. The bag is quite durable, easy to put up and take down and best of all, I can attest to it being quite water resistant. Bought the 50 '' rails for my 2015 Rogue and using the included spacers, they are a perfect fit. Rails feel very tight and secure. Steal bars are strong and rubber coating does n't scratch up my kayak( like the first set of cheaper rails I bought that had to be returned for that reason). Easy to install and remove with the turn of the supplied Allen wrench. Notice a slight `` hum '' from the wind Without the kayak- after 45 mph, however No Sound at all With the kayak strapped on the rails- getting just over 60mph. Theft resistant Locks completely detach from the bracket so keep them close by. If you are constantly removing and installing, I would suggest marking guide lines near the brackets so you do n't waste time centering the rails over the car each time. Great quality and gets the job done.

I JUST PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT& INSTALLED IT. THE ONLY ISSUE IS THE SIDE TIE DOWN STRAPS ARE TOO SHORT TO RECONNECT TO EACH OTHER. HAD TO TIE A KNOT IN THE STRAP TO THE TRAILER. OTHER THAN THAT IT FITS& LOOKS GREAT. TIME WILL TILL ON HOW IT WILL HOLD UP THROUGH THE WINTER.

I 've only had this cover a few days so not much to say so far. I do have one area of concern. The four corners where the t- top portion of the cover meets the rest of the cover; I think these four places may fail first. I think they should reinforce the four corners somehow. I will give feedback on this later. Overall this cover is really nice and fairly priced and easy to put on even doing it by yourself. Covers my 2003 Sea Pro 180CC nicely, it even covers the motor so no need to buy an additional cover for just the motor.

I just got it and fitment is great on my 1997 196 key west center console with t- top. I have short bow rails and it still fit great! It covers the engine also. Very high quality construction and I like the way it ties down to the trailer. I would not reccomend trailering with the cover installed. The only down side i can see so far is the stuff sack for when you are not using the cover is a bit small. I do n't think any one will fold this cover up the way you will receive it to get it back in the storage back, but that is minor.
