I like that the adjustable strap is durable and long which allows multi- functional wear at various positions. However, when wearing it at a higher position( across chest or upper- back), the strap is extremely long and just kind of hangs/flaps around. Most of all, I like that the material is extra lightweight and easy to wipe clean. For size reference, I also have the Nike Aura Waistpack and the Nike Aura Crescent Cross Body is about twice the size.

This is a great, scaled- down version of one of my all time favorite Osprey bags, my Flapjack messenger. It share a similar, if not paired down, layout of the larger bag. I find it's a great size and weight for my daily use. A messenger with an external bottle pocket is quite a find! This messenger delivers on it's concept. Got mine in Night Shift Blue, which is attractive( even my wife likes it) without being over- the- top. Just about the right size to use as a laptop bag( using with a 14 '' M4 MacBook Pro) as long as you do n't need to carry many additional items. There's a vertical pocket that I think is intended for sunglasses; I 've wound up commandeering that for the power cord/adapter and an HDMI cable. Otherwise, I like the amount of space the bag has- you ca n't carry your lunch, three paperback books and your framing hammer in it, which is a good thing in my book- I do n't want or need a giant bag most days, so a bigger bag would add bulk but not value. Would be nice to have a web/mesh pocket inside the main compartment for storing power cords or the like, as the outside pocket is n't really big enough for a power cord for the laptop( and I 'm using a dinky 30W charger and a 6ft cable). Only other gripe is the strap- rather than adjusting at one end where it connects to the bag, it has adjustments on either side of the shoulder pad. While this works well for setting the shoulder pad to ride in a consistent position, it's only a benefit if you always carry the bag in the same place( in front, in back, on the side)- otherwise, you 'd have to adjust the straps every time you changed the bag carry position. Would also like it if the shoulder pad was a little grippier; if you do n't carry the bag cross- body it does n't like to stay on your shoulder.

This is my only go- everywhere bag that I take with me any time I leave the house. I ’ ve been using it for three years and I love it as much as the day I got it. I keep my phone in the back top- zippered compartment, and AirPods and lip balm in the small front pocket. In the main compartment slip pocket I have a notebook, pen, stain remover; in the rest of the compartment, I have alcohol hand spray, a pack of tissues, prescription glasses in their case standing up, and beside the glasses a Fjällräven pencil case in which I carry my must- haves( Advil, pocket knife, measuring tape, Bandaids, sanitary pad, alcohol wipes, nail file, hair elastic, eye glasses spray cleaner, snack). The glasses case and the Fjällräven pencil case stand up perfectly side by side, and in front of them I keep my Fjällräven Zip Wallet( filled with approximately 15 cards and cash). All of these items combined fit into the Sling without issue, and I can still put my large set of keys inside if I don ’ t want them in my pocket or clipped to the sturdy strap. In one of the side pockets, I keep a reusable bag. For a bag this small, it ’s amazing all that it can hold, and it ’s super comfortable to wear and have on all day. My one word of caution is to not wear the bag with any kind of delicate athletic/spandex- type clothing since the heavy- duty woven strap can snag or pull the fabric. For people who talk about colour transfer, please use common sense. If you buy the bag in a light colour, yes, of course, it will get dirty( the light colours make no sense to me and don ’ t blame the company for that)!! Similarly, yes, do not wear the bag in a dark colour rubbing against a white shirt. It ’s obvious from the material of the Sling that colour can transfer in both ways. I have mine in Dark Forest( same colour as my backpack and several items of clothing) and absolutely adore it. I love how I can grab the bag by the handles or the long strap, how everything is securely zipped, how hard- wearing the material is, and how I can also hook things to the bag if necessary. I can ’ t recommend it enough.
