I bought this swimsuit several months ago and only tried it out yesterday for the first time for lap swimming. I asked my husband if he thought this suit looked good on me, which he did, but I still felt a bit self- conscious about wearing it. I bought a size 10, which is fortunately the right size. It was a little tight putting it on, and it hugged my curves, but it did n't make me look like a stuffed sausage. I sort of have the shape of the model in the picture, not too big in the waist area, but a sizeable rear and sturdy thighs and I think this suit looks good on the model. The vertical lines also make you look somewhat slimmer. The suit has no lining, and it did feel a little odd in the crotch area initially, but I guess that 'll disappear with repeated wearing. I use this suit strictly for lap swimming and so far, it performs alright. I felt myself being able to glide through the water.

This is my first real `` swimming '' suit. I have always worn tankinis, but they have been getting trashed by twice- a- week lap swimming. I never would have thought that I would buy and wear a one piece swimsuit as a 55 yr old woman--- far too revealing. However, I really like this swimsuit! It will feel very snug, but it has held up quite well to the chlorine and wringing out. I 've been using it twice a week for several months, and it appears almost new. You MUST order two sizes up. So, if you are normally an 8, you need to buy a 12. And it will still feel very snug. I like how the legs are n't too high, and the lycra does n't give out( sag) in the behind. Color still looks good, not faded. A very solid swimmer's suit.
