This is a nice power brick that does the normal power brick stuff. I use it for camping and around the house when I am not near an outlet. It will charge my phone 2- 3 times, and added 40% to my jumbo iPad. I ’ m a fan of the quick USB- C quick charging. I discovered one hidden feature when camping, and this may be a happy accident. I didn ’ t see mention of this on the website…. When I was trying to plug my phone in while camping last time, I noticed that if I hit the button on the side of the power bank that it not only lit up the bars showing battery life, but it also lit up the plug charge holes. This is a really helpful feature when I don ’ t have a flashlight handy to figure out how to plug in at night. Whether this is clever design or a good accident, I like it.

[ Ampex was kind enough to send me this because I purchased a Tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and backpack all from them. If I was able to do this over again I would. I would buy it myself because I love this power bank so much. I went on a multi day trip and was able to charge my phone once( didnt need to charge it more than 1 time at all) and still had a ton of power left in the bank. My favorite part about having this power bank is that I can charge my headlamp( not Ampex product) with it and can have peace of mind knowing that I can use my headlamp as much as I want and I 'll be able to have light my whole trip. I still use this product daily, not just up in the mountains!

This item is everything I wanted and needed. Something I can use to hold my iPhone while I video chat with my kids and grandkids, while at the same time charging the phone AND my iWatch at the same time!!! What a change from having to either sit near an outlet with my phone connected to a cable, or having my phone get low battery notices while talking to my grandkids. Only thing wrong-- charging instructions and information not easy to understand for a nontechnical older person like myself, another reason for technology smart grandkids!!!

I recently bought this solar power bank and am very impressed! It is compact and works very well!! The light is very bright and it charges fairly quickly with the usb- c. The pad for charging my phone charged at a slower rate but still charged. I would recommend this product in a power outage or for short term needs.
